This fandom can NOT handle it when people ship characters from popular pairings with anyone else. Arcane twitter especially is so irritating about it. HammerHound, MelVik, GertVi — they are immediately met with “um…”/“oh!”/“wrap it up” type responses and I hate it. What happened to not interacting with ships when you don’t like them?

The response to HammerHound especially on there is sooo annoying because I’ll be scrolling through the tag and people on there are just so unnecessarily negative. The vehement dislike is so baffling to me and I hate how they bring it into spaces where people enjoy it. God forbid you don’t only ship their favorite pairing… And when they try to come up with every excuse under the sun to invalidate it… 😒
