Shortly after we landed at Tuguegarao airport, we went spelunking at Callao cave and dancing in mud dance floors at Sierra cave. We then had the most refreshing dip at Pinacanauan River as the golden sun set. It was love at first explore at Tuguegarao 💖💖💖 P.S. At some point, the landscape inside the Sierra Cave turned into something like this, which was equally fascinating and terrifying. You had to be careful not to break any of the stalactites and stalagmites or be injured by them, but also that you don’t sink into the mud or make the mistake of stepping on a deeper puddle. We would eventually be forced to crawl through about a 2 feet high, stalactite lined tunnel which sadly we weren’t able to photograph. I finally understood why the guide didn’t want me to bring my camera and tripod 😅 it was truly darkest before the light 👻 (at Peñablanca, Cagayan)

Pro tip: set your cameras to a 4:5 ratio if you’re uploading to Instagram so nothing gets cut off.
