"…What the fuck?" She breathes incredulously, breaking the silence by laughing out of nowhere. Lesley leans over from where she’s seated to show her companion what she’s finding so amusing. Eyes still glued to the app that’s open, she wonders aloud. "Why do these kids keep commenting ‘mom’ underneath my photos?" Frankly, she finds it a little bizarre — but then again, it could be worse.
"Lesley." The brunette replied sternly glancing back at her roommate. "As amusing as that is. Do you have something to tell me?" She questions her looking dead serious. Unfortunately that doesn't last long, since she ends up bursting out laughing in a few seconds. "I'm sorry, I couldn't help it." She continues to laugh and wraps one arm around the girl next to her in an attempt of making things better. She liked laughing, especially after so much time feeling dull and stressed out from her life as a celebrity. When Scarlett's laughter finally goes silent she takes her time to actually think about Lesley's question. "I don't know, maybe they want you to adopt them?"
“Honestly, who even decided that it was a good idea to give people presents on Christmas? Isn’t it Jesus’ birthday? He should be the one getting presents, not everyone else in the world. I don’t have time to buy gifts for all the people I like when I just released an album like a month ago!” She says it with the most discouraging tone ever, as if the entire holiday was just about to be ruined; and before anyone else has the opportunity to reply, she continues with her rant, hands all over the place and not stopping once to breathe. “I have stuff to do like everyday now, and a dog to take care of — who even allowed me to get a dog right now? I think I might lose my mind pretty soon… but, I mean, on the other hand, I feel fantastic right now, all I need is some Christmas spirit.”
"Maybe it's to celebrate his birthday?" Scarlett suggests raising her shoulders in response. "I mean he's dead so this is probably one of those 'don't mourn over his death, celebrate his life' kind of things? Though I still can't explain the present exchange." Though out the whole conversation with Valerie, Scar didn't seem to pay as much attention to her, but that didn't stop the responses to keep coming. Buried deep in thoughts, even Val's slightly over dramatic behavior couldn't bring her back to reality. "Tell me about it, now I have two. Sometimes I ask myself why did I do it. But then I look at their cute puppy dog eyes and go weak. They work on me every time." She shook her head a small smile finally appearing on her face. Realizing that a conversation with Valerie would be the best way for her to get her mood up she picked the first question from on top of her mind just to keep things going. "So what do you want to get for Christmas?"
Scrolling through the photos she had taken that day before flicking over to Instagram, Dallas turned to the person beside her. “I feel like I’m one of the only people that understands where Kim Kardashian was coming form. So she cropped her baby out of a photo, she knew she was looking good, and wanted to put that out there. I can appreciate it.” She looks back through the few recent photos of herself. “You’ve got to appreciate beauty.”
"She cropped out her own child from a picture?" Scarlett looked back at Dallas, surprised. "I've never really had an opinion on Kim cause I don't want to judge her anyhow, but this is bizarre. She's a mother now, shouldn't she put her child first?" She asked, curious about what the other girl thought of this. Her views of motherhood were obviously a lot different than Dallas'. Considering she grew up being around her family all the time that could've been clouding her judgement. But she couldn't apologize for the way she thought nor had any intention of sounding offensive. "People do a lot of things for beauty, but this doesn't sound like a photoshoot"
Bea picked up her things absent-mindedly, shoving her book into her bag and cradling her empty plastic Starbucks cup under her arm.The redhead was clad in sunglasses and a beanie, trying not to be noticed by anyone. She doubted anyone would actually notice her; the food court was practically deserted aside from the young family sitting a ways away, near Panda Express. As she focused on dumping her garbage into the trash can, Bea didn’t realize the person approaching, or even that their pathways were somehow intertwined. “Shit,” she grumbled as the two bodies collided. “Sorry about that.”
Scarlett couldn't say this was the best day she's had in awhile. After her failed attempt of Christmas shopping, the girl had found herself wandering around a mall not aware of what she wanted to do. With her recent haircut and people getting ready for the holidays no one really payed attention to who was walking around. So a pair of sunglasses seemed to be enough for her to blend into the crowd. So while she was waiting for her inspiration and Christmas spirit to come back, the girl though that it'd be good for her to check in with her manager sending her a text. But perhaps that wasn't her brightest idea, cause the next moment her body had crashed into someone. The hit wasn't that back, but Scar immediately took a few steps back, just enough to give the person so space. "I'm so sorry I wasn't watching where I was going." She had started to apologize, but after working with her for so much time it didn't take Scarlett long to recognize her co-star Beatice one of the reasons being her signature red locks. "Bea!" She beamed, pushing the sunglasses on top of her head. "What are you doing here?"
"Honestly, I have no idea what to do with my new apartment." Scarlett admitted. Finding time for hanging out with family friends seemed almost impossible for the brunette. After booking too many modeling jobs than she can take, the pressure had finally started to show on her features. Being able to manage her time was always something she was good at. But with the resent family drama that was something unusual for the Grahams, work and some disturbing magazine headlines Scar was aat her worst. Some of the results of it being red eyes, under eye dark circles and paler skin. Luckily covering that up seemed like the easiest thing to do right now. "It's so big and I don't have the time for decorating it, Christmas shopping and you know all of that stuff I should be looking forward to."
“okay, i know this looks bad but…” spencer winced at her shwasted OK! magazine, fighting the urge to look at her fellow prominent peer and see that same disapproving expression — with the head shaking and bitter laughing. spener didn’t need that, especially right at that moment. the photo was of her all over a drunken older male actor; one hand on his face and the other where his mother would beat him and her for even the thought. “i just…well—stop it !! you’re judging me and it’s not fair !! ”
Scarlett tilted her head to the side. Figuring out what to say without it sounding bad was a tough task, but certainly one she was willing to take. She didn't want to make fun of Spencer, especially after seeing how displeased she was from this. This wasn't a topic you could joke about, at least she wouldn't like it if someone made a joke out of it. Pressing her lips together the brunette turned to her."It's not that bad, honestly." She managed to get out, but unfortunately it wasn't convincing enough. Scar couldn't even make herself believe the words that she just said. "If it makes you feel any better if that was one of my four famous Chris crushes I would've done the same."
I went to a photoshoot the other day and the photographer was fucking creepy. She was literally just staring at me in the towel, and my manager had to get her out of her “trance” or whatever so that she’d take the picture. I mean I know that I’m good looking, otherwise I wouldn’t be a model, but should photographers be more professional?
"Was that the first time it happened to you?" Scarlett turned to the fellow model looking at him in disbelief. Despite her interest in finding out if this had really been the first time this has happened to Conrad, she still took her time to think over the situation he was talking about. "Nothing unsual." She shrugged. "At first it's kind of creepy-- and still is. I mean sometimes they just look at you like some piece of meat and it's easy to feel violated. But at least you'll know never to work with them again. If they really want you to work with them, then they'll change the photographer and it's a win win for both."
sooooooo I'm slowly updating the update post (that sounded weird, but whatever) cause after seeing what everyone else did I got some ideas for new projects and such. I have some people over, but I'm in the process of slowly replying to everything. tomorrow's the last day I have of school and after that I'm on winter break and free to dedicate myself to ftp fully. kk ily all
I need to stop spending so much money on Christmas ornaments. My tree is literally decked out in glitter already and it’ll probably topple over before morning because of all the weight.
"You should see my trees in New York and Cleveland!" Scarlett beamed taking her phone out to show her friend pictures. "I already postedd them on Instagram if you haven't seen them yet, but you should still look." Truth to be told, they weren't as spectacular as last year's. But with the amount of free time she had for the past month and decorating her newly purchased condo in New York. Not that it mattered. Probably no one would spend Christmas with her either way. Knowing that her father would rather be with his wife, her mother and Scar wasn't exactly ready to go face to face with the woman. Inspecting the photos closely eventually she frowned. "Damn. I think I might need more not that I look at them. You can see the branches."
"Okay, I’ll explain…" Lesley starts, dodging the accusatory look being flashed her way. "But really, man — who thought it would be a good idea to leave me alone on laundry duty? And how was I supposed to know that they actually meant it when they labeled the damn dress ‘dry clean only’? Fuck —” she kicks a sturdy metal side of the source of her frustration — not a good idea to act on while barefoot, even after all her years spent knocking around cleats. “How the hell,” she tosses up her arms wildly, “am I supposed to get all of these sequins out of here?”
Scarlett stared at Lesley rather amused than upset, a glint of a smile playing on her lips. Whenever she left Los Angeles for work she always seemed to find her roommate in some sticky situation when she came back. Not every time, but often enough so we wasn't surprised anymore. "Well y'know when clothing tags say something they usually mean it. It's actually my fault leaving you with laundry duty for so long without explaining anything." She pointed out and bent down to take the iron from the floor to check if it was still on. "At least you turned it off." She sighs in relief before noticing that Lesley had been walking around barefoot all along. "It's still hot thought so you better put some sock on at least. Next time you might get burned. How will you explain your inability to wear heels or any shoes at all during you next fashion show? As for the dress I'm gonna say it's a hopeless situation. And you know what that calls for? Shopping!"

Throughout the past month due to the complicated relationship with both her mother and brother, Scarlett Graham has been reportedly spending less time around family and is focusing more on work. Whether it's going on the runway for modeling jobs, appearing in ads or guest starring on both talk and TV shows. She seems to take every opportunity that's out there, but has been much more secretive about her personal life having people wonder what she has to hide.
Lock and load. I’ve seen a lot but still, too young to feel old. Got my scars to show. Won’t give into the thrill. I’m standing on my own.
