I really shouldn’t have left my Halloween costume to the last minute. I feel like there are no options left, I went to Target and the only things I found were a hot dog costume and a viking. Needless to say, I walked out with nothing. What do you do in a pinch like this?
“I’m sure you’re not the only one that that happens too.” Benji laughed lightly, shaking his head. “How’s the wrist though? Sounds like you just had the worst luck this morning.” he told her with a small smile.
“Thank god, I’m relieved I’m not alone. Hopefully yours are devoid of injury, though.” Scarlett laughed, and rolled her eyes. “Hurts like a bitch, but I’ll survive. I’ve broken it multiple times over the years. The life of a performer is riddled with injuries, unfortunately.”
You are not alone. There I said it. But really, I’ll admit, standing there in the bathroom, after a shower with the steam going in effect, I feel like a damn greek god. All Hail the Mighty Josh! Then my pending soon to be ex-wife would flush the toilet and the mystique of the moment would be gone.
Those flushing toilets really do ruin our most important moments, don’t they? Don’t they know we need those to keep our secret egos in check? It’ll either be a toilet or slipping on something innocuous. Like a bed sheet or that water you forgot you spilled and didn’t clean up. Nothing makes me feel smaller than getting hurt because of my own stupidity -- and I’m pretty small as it is already!
“Well, you had a real painful reality check that you’re in fact not invincible. How’s the wrist? I’d probably go nuts not being able to use my hands.”
“God, I totally did. This is what I get for thinking I can be Wonder Woman. It’s pretty painful, but luckily it was my left hand, so I can still do most things I would normally do. One handed typing and texting is a challenge, let me tell you. 10/10 do not recommend!”
“I have these days constantly, it almost always ends up with me just sitting down the couch and completely giving up on being productive because I’m afraid a piano will fall on my head. Life is cruel sometimes.”
“That’s exactly what happened to me, minus the piano! Although that was a possibility, if my upstairs neighbor randomly has an earthquake, I can kiss my body goodbye.”
“Did you try to crush someone’s skull and break your own wrist? Or did you break someone else’s wrist? Either way…honestly never felt like that.”
“Actually, embarrassingly enough, I ended up slipping on my bed sheet and falling face first into my floor. Not the most graceful thing I’ve ever done. I wish I’d been crushing skulls or something amazing, but sadly it was just my floor letting me down.”
“Do you ever have days where you wake up and feel like a Greek god/goddess who can crush skulls with their bear hands? Or you think you’ll be completely productive, conquer the world, and be revered and then as soon as you step foot out of bed, it all goes horribly wrong? That was me this morning, and it ended in a broken wrist. Someone please tell me I’m not alone here.”
I just want my life back and I don’t know how long that takes to happen.. How did you manage to get over it Just time and meditation? Thank you..
It took me a long time to get back to a place where I was comfortable with myself. Honestly, it was a year or so of pretty intensive therapy before I could get over it enough to consider myself normal again. But meditation and focusing on fitness has really helped quell the anxiety I can still get over it randomly. It’s hard, but you just have to find and focus on something that grounds you.
“I seriously walked into a shelf. What can I say? I’m a klutz.”
“Oh god, are you okay? Hopefully it didn’t give you a concussion or anything...”
“I don’t really know how rats tails work, I just know that they gross me out and I hate them.”
“What are rats even here for? The planet could probably survive without them. We have plenty of other less disgusting rodents to eat bugs and the other crap they eat. I don’t get nature.”

Scarlett: life seems to choose the worst people to pile stuff on top of, it sucks.
Scarlett: at least you've got a little bit of a respite, music is good at that!
Steal her part, what are you even talking about, weren’t you always Janet (; It definitely makes the entire show feel like its different every night. I’ve come pretty close to it, but luckily I can get away with weird looks in character when I’m trying not too. We both are still living so I’m sure its alright that we continue drinking all the coffee that we do. It’s needed for life!
Of course I was, I don’t even know where in the world this conversation came from. No crime here! That’s the beauty of a show as crazy and strange as that one, you can get away with breaking every now and then. I don’t think I could stop at this point, although I could probably stand to switch to decaf. It would cut my energy levels in half and I’d be a shell of a person!
Kaseem was just sitting down, half asleep till a stranger came up to him and asked him a question. He began to rub his eyes and mumbled his answer
Scarlett just raised her eyebrow and glanced at the guy sitting a table over from her. “I was just asking if you knew that you’re about to spill your drink,” she said, half amused. “I wouldn’t want you to walk around looking like you’ve had an accident.”
“How the hell have I managed to sleep 10 full hours and still be so sleepy? I really think my brain just hates me now. Not even coffee will make it better.”
“I always wonder the hows and whys of what our bodies are capable of. One would think that that much rest is a good thing, so why on earth do we all wake up feeling like we’ve been flattened by semi-trucks? It’s cruel and unusual punishment.”
Moving halfway across the country with a three year old is exhausting. Half of our things are still packed. I told my husband we are never moving again…
All the way across the country with a kid that young? You must be Supermom to have made it in one piece! That’s an impressive talent!
Pretty much, but I do it anyways. I don’t care if people hate, I’m still going to live my life the way I want to. Right? I get the biggest kick out of the comparison pictures and I’m like oh you poor, poor dude. That wasn’t a good choice in remote controls.
That’s exactly what you should do, who cares what people say? I’ve been doing my best to live that way for as long as I can, even if it drives some people away. You don’t need them. The comparison pictures are hilarious, like really? No one cares about your dong being almost as long as a piece of plastic. Especially when it’s cheap and off brand.
“Trust me, I didn’t kill someone. I just dyed a girl’s hair red and now my arms are just stained. Needless to say, her hair looks amazing, though.”
“Oh jeez, I was about to ask if you were on the run from the law! Or if you’d fallen into a vat of food coloring or something...”
