Jimmy Page in Swan Songâs herb garden, 1977.
âDevelopingâ countries are still âdevelopingâ because they are exploited by multinational corporations from rich âdevelopedâ countries.
Globalized capitalism paints a gruesome picture of the appalling, deadly practices these corporations engage in to use cheap labor and suppress any opposition through force.
The outsourcing of jobs from developed countries occurred when workers won their rights: protection from unsafe working conditions and products, a guaranteed wage, abolition of child labor, et cetera.
The fact that multinational corporations outsourced jobs to vulnerable developing countries where they can neglect basic human rights proves that capitalism is built on the backs of the poor, who suffer and starve despite resources being abundant.
Neoliberalism has identified exploited countries as âdevelopingâ to shift the blame and promote a disastrous agenda.
Arguments defending this exploitation usually are along the lines of âwell, you canât expect corporations to protect these people, itâs always the government who is at faultâ. Those arguments prove that neoliberals have succeeded in their agenda.
Globalization, under capitalism, has not created a world government, but rather a connection between the ruling class worldwide, allowing for legal agreements that promote their interests above all.
Capitalism kills millions, regularly. Globalization has not only made that easier, it has legalized and normalized it.

PSA if youâre going to talk about Palestine- understand that this is not an isolated riot, rather a continued struggle against the systemic occupation orchestrated by Israel. Palestinians arenât fighting over a medal detector or security measures, theyâre fighting for the last bit of dignity and ownership they have in their own land. Theyâre fighting against further siege. Theyâre fighting because the world is enabling Israel, and labeling the Palestinian struggle as âprotestsâ. This is not a protest- it is an ongoing resilience.
American propaganda works so well that we still have people out here thinking it was totally fine and justified that the United States dropped two atomic bombs on Japanese civilians, killing well over 100,000 innocent people. It works so well that, even though the United States is the only country to ever use a nuclear bomb in warfare, people think that the United States is still the only qualified entity to invade other countries in order to stop them from having nuclear weapons. It works so well that you can read all about every war crime committed by the United States all around the world, with little to no government censorship, and that STILL doesnât make people rise up in anger. It works so well that you can read accounts of the CIA or FBI literally trying to brainwash Americans into total subservience and people STILL wonât resist.
Americans put the Soviets to shame in how effective their propaganda is. Itâs not even close.

The lawyers at JFK are saying their biggest need right now is translators. Please share this with your contacts: If you are an Arabic or Farsi speaker in NYC and are able to provide real-time translations please get in contact with the NY ACLU or the international refugee assistance project. Folks are still needed at terminal 4 at JFK. Share with your networks!

A Palestinian father kisses his young son goodbye before being displaced from his home around Hebron. Circa. 1967.
In 1967 after Israel occupied the Palestinian territories (WB and Gaza), 280,000 to 325,000 Palestinians were displaced from their homes, 10 Palestinian villages were destroyed, and 2 Palestinian refugee camps destroyed.Â
This event is known as the Naksa, the second Palestinian exodus.
(not be confused with the Nakba, the first Palestinian exodus.)Â
