spoken while tearing into the fleshy treat, madotsuki’s cheeks puffed similarly to a chipmunk while devouring her meal, multitasking to swing her backpack around to her chest. several objects were produced from inside ; a bottle of peroxide, a few cotton balls, and a roll of gauze. ( why did she keep things like that on her person anyway? weird girl. )

Despite his gruff response, arms extend ( palms up, elbows bleeding through his white dress shirt ). It’s not like he has a choice in the situation- he can’t exactly go to the school nurse all drugged &. drunken and expect to keep his job.

madotsuki hadn’t been in the room all too long, only hearing the final part of the other’s lament. as she approached, she waved a wrapped crepe in his face, glancing about at the wounds he’d left on his arms. nothing horribly unusual to her————— -   whether he suffered emotionally and needed an outlet or the scratching was the effect of withdrawal, she was no stranger to either. either or, it was a good idea to snap him out of his dazed state. she plopped a dollop of whipped cream on his nose.

Breath ( stinking and hot with two bottles of vodka and a ham sandwich ) hisses as his mouth opens, pink tongue slithering from it’s depths to lick at the whipped cream so generously placed on his nose. He can taste the preservatives and distinct tang of plastic- it’s definitely CoolWhip. Disgusting. Bloodied hand wipes the rest of the unsatisfactory cream from his nose, knuckles smearing streaks of red across pallid skin.

“ How can you eat that shit ? Buy the good stuff next time. ”

Nails scratch at the pallid flesh of his bony arm, back and forth back and forth- he heeds no warning brought forth by pain and beading blood. He will scratch, scratch until he can scratch no more ( and even then he will continue ). He wants to disappear, rip himself to shreds and devour what little bits remain. His arm, though part-way mangled and covered in blood- it’s not enough for him. It’s slow- too slow. He’s existing for too long. Fingers move up, up- to his throat where they grasp and claw at the lump that’s formed. He wants to pull it out, it’s too small to suffocate him. He needs something bigger to replace it- maybe not. Maybe he can dig through and pull it out, and pull his intestines along with it. Maybe he can gut himself like a fish and instead of disappearing, he can be a host for the void he feels forming inside him. 

   “ Swallow me. “ He speaks to that churning feeling in his stomach.  “Swallow me and don’t ever spit me out”

having been tugging the other by the sleeve through the hall of an unfamiliar building, madotsuki brushed past groups of people, all surrounding huge glass tanks which emitted a blueish glow. the rooms were darkened and stunk of algae, though the beaming expression on her face showed very clearly just how excited she was to be visiting the local aquarium for the first time.

“ GYAH ! Slow down, slow down! The sharks aren’t gonna disappear Madotsuki, you can slow down! ”  One hand remains occupied with the girl’s non-stop tugging, while the other pinches the bridge of his nose just slightly. He couldn’t win in an aquarium; If he breathed through his mouth he tasted the fish. If he breathed through his nose, he smelled it.
