so many of the ‘cool’ bloggers that made this site fun and kind of enjoyable turned out to be terrible and both without that enjoyable content and just the general fear and tension i feel most of us have now it’s just kind of unpleasant to be here. any shitposts seem forced, attempts at positive interaction seem just that--attempts. i’m afraid of who else is going to turn out to be trash and i’m afraid this will only get worse and worse.

the only reason most of us are still around are either because we have friends here, we don’t know anywhere else to go, or for the occasional funny memes but that’s really no reason to stick to this site. it’s been getting worse and worse and i doubt it will get better, just more depressing as time goes on and people get weeded out.

i personally have started using twitter so this isn’t my only social platform so i may just move to that and if any mutuals on here want to add me on there then that’d be cool. that or skype i guess. i’ll still keep my blog up and check my inbox occasionally if anyone needs me but i really don’t need the stress and disheartening mood my dash seems to give me. there’s better stuff to do.

it’s been fun. i hope the people who stay enjoy themselves. thanks to the mutuals and the people who made my time here good.

If anyone I follow feels uncomfortable around me because of age difference, I won’t hold anything against you for asking me to stay away from you. I won’t resent you or ask for an explanation or expose you so if you’ve been holding off on asking me something like that, go ahead.

hey underage bloggers,

when it comes to older bloggers, you have every right to feel uncomfortable and ask them to unfollow you & not interact with your posts, based on their age. it’s not discrimination, it’s not going to hurt anyones feelings - you deserve a safe space on the internet, especially on a blog where you express yourself.

you don’t need to explain why an older person makes you uncomfortable or unsafe. and you don’t owe them an explanation in the first place. too many of us are forced to have uncomfortable interactions with familiar adults like family members, our parents friends, etc. you really do have a choice. especially here.
