Old man walking through the nothingness created by the demolition of the Sfanta Vineri neighborhood during the end of the 80's. Many historical areas of Bucharest have suffered enormous damage and disappearance under the megalomaniac will to build of the country’s late dictator. Sfanta Vineri neighborhood remained unattended as the regime came to an end in 89. Destructured to this day, the chaotic manner in which the post-89 buildings were erected does nothing to help diminish the look and feel of this forgotten area in the core of the city.
