Ecosystems in biomes

There are no visible separations between ecosystems many of them exchange organisms and inert factors, for example, vultures get their food from the meadows situated in forests although they nest in rocky cliffs.

Scientists use ecotones ( these areas have the richest diversity of different species), a biome is a set of close ecosystems which similar climate and soil conditions over large geographical areas.

A population is a group of different species of organisms that live in the same geographic area that interbreed with each other. Many species consist of multiple populations dispersed over a few to many geographic areas.

These are inter-specific if they affect organisms of different species, for example, parasitism. They are intra-specific if organisms of the same species within the same population are involved.

Hmm, we're back, sorry, we needed to make that joke.

Fine, we start. An ecosystem is a set of integrated natural elements, which are independent of each other, located in space, and subject to changes in time. Its community (really biocenosis but you know, dumb public dah) is made of organisms of various species; and the characteristics of the soil and climate or the aquatic conditions make up the biotope.
