     “you’re gonna move aside, mulder. or i’m going to shoot you.” identical to her sister in everything but voice, diana scullys voice shook. her hands clutched the gun. “he said he’d give me back Charlie if I brought him William. Move aside. NOW.” she doesn’t want to shoot him. her sister was already never going to talk to her over this, she knew how much her nephew meant to Dana and Mulder. 

“please.” her voice cracks. “i can’t lose charlie.”

      it’s all for charlie. she longs to tell her sister but she can’t. it’s all for charlie. her daughter was everything to her. she’d move heaven and earth for her. to protect her. the CSM would have her killed; this much diana knew. “why would I ever want to be on the losing side, Dana?” she finally says, still not lowering her gun. “move out of the way.”
