The "Not throwing away my shot" theme was clearly inspired by the ambitious nature of the titular #Hamilton but it's also a double entendres to the literal act of "throwing away one's Fire" in pistol dueling which of course is what some historians claim Hamilton was trying to do, when Burr misunderstood and returned deadly aim during their fateful duel. Is Lin-Manuel stating that Hamilton actually intended to kill Burr rather that delope? #hamilton #hamiltonmusical #alexanderhamilton
