as someone who stopped touring for the foreseeable future i always support the idea of taking breaks and having a life outside of being on stage, it really takes a toll on you but hopefully this hiatus gives you a chance to rest up and take care of yourself. shit, i don't even know what you should do with your time, i guess it really depends on if you'd rather be productive or take advantage of the break and screw around? i can give you suggestions for either.

i have been looking forward to this as we got closer and closer to the last leg of the tour and now it's finally here. there are so many things i can do so many things and people to see. it really does, especially after touring for half a year and how fast it just came and went so quick. oh hell yeah, i'm taking advantage of this hiatus and hope it doesn't go by really fast. hey i'm honestly all ears for anything. all i know is, the first few days i'm staying in bed and ordering take out. i won't be leaving my bed anytime soon.

that actually sounds kind of nice. do you want a list of things you could do? alright, but before i start giving you suggestions, just know that i take zero responsibility for any of them. one: steal a car and drive through seoul grand theft auto style. two: join a flash mob or better yet, start one. but make the song something cheesy like bruno mars or wait, i've got it, carly rae jepsen. three: go skinny dipping although maybe do that somewhere in europe instead. four: join a gang but like one of those sons of anarchy kinds. was that enough?

okay well damn those are some very good, very interesting suggestions as to what i could do while on hiatus. first one, not sure i want to do because i'm too nice to get away with that, the second one requires dancing and i've been dancing for half a year and i need a break from that. if i'm going skinny dipping you're coming with me, i'm not doing that by myself. never seen sons of anarchy but i don't think i'm gang material. again all great suggestions, i will take some of them into consideration.

Congrats on almost wrapping up the tour! What should you do during this time? Honestly? Sleep for three days, order far too much takeaway, and refuse to look at a schedule. Then book a spontaneous trip, pick up a hobby you'll abandon within a week, and catch up with everyone you've been missing. You’ve earned the right to be completely useless for a bit.

thank you so much! that was literally first on my list of things to do now that we're taking a break. instead of three days, i'm sleeping for about a week. well maybe not sleeping but i won't be leaving my bed for an entire week so my body can rejuvenate before i go out and figure out wha ti want to do. that's what i've been told, to take a trip somewhere i haven't been or somewhere i've been wanting to visit. may have to go off the grid for a little bit with no interruptions.

okay but the touring lifestyle? i would be completely obsessed — like, repping my own merch because i am nothing if not my own biggest fan, that is just facts, and honestly even the bus situation doesn’t scare me. sure, it’s not the ritz, but there is something genuinely unmatched about that cozy, slightly chaotic, found family energy of everyone crammed into the same moving vehicle at two in the morning. i think i would thrive. i would be the person making everyone hot chocolate and insisting we do a movie night on a tiny laptop screen and calling it luxury. but how many months are we actually talking here? because i heard ed sheeran has been touring for something like four years at this point, which means at some stage the line between “recording artist” and “man who simply lives in stadiums now” has completely dissolved and nobody said anything to him about it. bless him, genuinely, but also — ed, honey, the couch exists. but okay i need to know — what is the one memory from this tour that you’re going to be telling people about forever? like the moment that, even when all the days have blurred into one giant sleep-deprived fever dream, is still somehow crystal clear? because there has to be one. there always is.

oh we do that all the time. during our last numbers or our finale, we'll wear and rep our merch on stage, it's alway so fun to wear our merch while on stage so everyone can see it if they haven't bought them yet. i couldn't agree with you more because that's how i feel anytime we're sporting our merch while performing. i feel like you'd really enjoy being on tour and being on the tour bus or flying across the sea to be out of the country. that's how i feel anytime the girls and i are on tour. especially because we've moved out of our dorms and moved separately, it's always nice to be touring together again because we get to share hotel rooms and be on the tour bus or on a flight together after we do our own thing. okay but when can i hang out with you and have those hot chocolate nights and movie nights with you because you sound like the life of the party and someone really fun to hang out with. you're not wrong, there are artists out there who are like that. me with my group we have been on the go for eleven years so this is our first time we're actually taking a well deserved hiatus to finally catch up on our rest and be able to relax. oh gosh that is such a good question, i really want to say when we toured all over the states in america. from one state to another, that's when it all blurred together. especially when we got to take small tours of cities we've never been to, everything felt like one entire day.

i'm glad you all are getting a break. it's deserved after how long twice has been on tour. it's felt like forever so i get the days blurred together a bit there. honestly, i'm on tour here still myself so i can't really suggest much unless you can make it out to one of our shows at all. if i wasn't on tour, i'd say pick up a new hobby to do or i could suggest a places you could visit that i enjoy going to whenever i have the chance.

we figured since we've been on the go for eleven years and haven't really had a break it was time to finally take this hiatus after this last tour. thanks to jihyo for confirming it. hey since we're done with our tour and have nothing to do now, work wise, maybe we can find time and make it out to on of your guys shows one of these days depending on how long you're touring for. i bet you're having fun though, getting to be back on the road with the guys again. yeah lily suggested i take a vacation since i have time to do so now. so i might do that for a little bit.

I'll be honest with you, as fun as it looks to be up on stage, the concept of touring like that seems exhausting. I think you and the other girls are more than deserving of this kind of break. How long were you on the road for? You must be exhausted. Please get all the rest and refresh yourself while you can. Everything must be such a blur for you at the moment, so take care of you and the rest will fall in place. Truthfully, I'm a huge advocate of taking vacations when free time creeps up. Isn't there anywhere you would love to travel to that you haven't spent much time in before? Now would be the perfect timing.

it does get pretty exhausting not going to lie. once you start though, your adrenaline is just running on full but once you get towards the middle after a few shows, that's when you start to feel it. not that it's a bad thing, but it tells you just how long you've been moving your body to where you're at half a tank with energy but you keep going. we were on the road for at least a good year if i think about it? honestly i can't remember, all my days have blurred into one that it's crazy to me that we've been on this tour for such a long time now. may have to do that, now that i know we're taking a temporary hiatus to where we have no set date of when we'll be back. a vacation does sound nice though. oh i've been wanting to go to greece and italy for awhile now, may have to check out those places.

we were very busy, i don't even remember when we started our tour but now it's coming to an end and we get to finally relax. no yeah of course i get what you're saying, it's been pretty crazy over the past year. thank you, that's exactly what i'm going to do, just catch up on sleep for the first few days of finally getting a chance to rest. thank you, i will definitely do that but all i know is my bed is calling for me and i can't wait to finally be in my own bed.

yessir you heard correctly. we were so excited for this and i cannot wait to figure out what i want to do for the time being. i think i'm feeling a little bit of both. first thing i want to do to start the hiatus is take a long ass nap and sleep for days to catch up on all the sleep i haven't had for quite sometime.
