You are in love.
Nos sure how to react lately…
I love how Holly Black didn’t even attempt to redeem Cardan, instead she just made Jude so much worse he seemed inoffensive by comparison
I should’ve asked you questions I should’ve asked you how to be asked you to write it down for me should’ve kept every grocery store receipt ‘cause every scrap of you would be taken from me watched as you signed your name: marjorie all your closets of backlogged dreams and how you left them all to me
Marjorie Finlay (1928-2003)
and I knew you’d come back to me, you’d come back to me, and you’d come back to me, and you’d come back...
Taylor at the folklore secret sessions
listening to folklore be like *cries* *looks up cottagecore on tumblr* *blankly stares out the window* *walks outside and tightly pull your cardigan around you like an old widow awaiting her husband’s arrival from war* *cries* *rants to friend about how brilliant taylor is* *walks around the house smiling like a psychopath while listening to mad woman* *decides to murder any man that looks in your direction* *realises that murder is illegal* *sighs*
A THEORY ABOUT TAYLOR SWIFT'S "CARDIGAN" MUSIC VIDEO
Hi… So, hmmm. I have been a Swiftie for 10 years now and I must admit that I suck at finding out clues about her songs, music videos, etc. But as I watched the “cardigan” music video I couldn’t help but notice… It does tells a story that goes beyond the song and the album… So I thought I could share it with my few followers and then maybe with the world?
P.S.: Even though I’m fluent in English, it’s not my first language, so please forgive me for any mistakes!
1,2,3 LET’S GO BITCH!
1. The first scene shows Taylor comfortably playing piano in this cozy little cabin. We can see her curls, her barefeet and even a picture of her grandpa. It makes me think that this could be an allusion about Taylor’s life and love for music before she became the powerhouse that she is today. She sees this magic, golden dust coming out of her piano and is
immediately fascinated by it, so she decides to look inside her piano and discover what this is all about. A little over 14 years ago, this magic golden dust appeared in Taylor’s life in the form of a music deal, everything a little singer, musician and songwriter from Nashville could ever want. She saw this opportunity to have her big break and dived right into it.
“When you are young they assume you know nothing…”
2. And then she comes out of her piano and is mesmerized by this beautiful view, opportunities to showcase her talent, creativity and singularity. She is living her dream. What else could she ask for? She has the money, fans, fame, friends and even boys… The young Taylor would be proud. But she feels alone. Somehow, she can’t 100% be herself, do her own stuff the way she wants to. Emptiness kicks in. She sinks into the pressure of portraying herself as America’s Sweetheart, every little kid role model, a pop-country diva. But all she wants is to be her old self again. Will she ever find it? By displaying vulnerability and kindness, characteristics that I truly admire in Taylor, some mean people have taken advantage of her and will do anything and everything to tear her down. The worst part of it was losing herself.
“A friend to all is a friend to none…”
3. The magic golden dust appears again and it sucks Taylor into this dark place she would wish it upon her worst enemy. She doesn’t even know herself anymore. “Did I let my fans down? Will I ever make music again?”. Little did she know that the thing that led her here is the thing that will save her and make millions of people fall in love with again: music. When she had no one to talk to, nowhere to hide, no one she could trust, she had music. And she had a special someone in her life too… The “Love Story” she has only dreamt of. And that someone makes her feel like she’s his favorite cardigan. What else can I say? Her one and only kissed her scars and helped her stand up again and helped her find the magic golden dust back home to the Taylor we always knew, looked up to and has and will love forever.
“You drew stars around my scars…”
I hope you guys liked my post and remember it’s just and interpretation of this masterpiece Taylor made. Please feel free to comment and help me get this to Taylor!

Taylor Swift singlehanded save 2020 for me.
im in this photo and i don’t like it
Consider: Taylor playing the 1989 rock version of WANEGBT and changing the lyrics to, “So he calls me up and he’s like, ‘I still really respect you as an artist,’ and I’m just like, ‘Uh, whatever, this is exhausting. I want my music back,’ should be a thing.
Don’t know what else to do
Guys - It’s been announced recently that the American Music Awards will be honoring me with the Artist of the Decade Award at this year’s ceremony. I’ve been planning to perform a medley of my hits throughout the decade on the show. Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun have now said that I’m not allowed to perform my old songs on television because they claim that would be re-recording my music before I’m allowed to next year. Additionally - and this isn’t the way I had planned on telling you this news - Netflix has created a documentary about my life for the past few years. Scott and Scooter have declined the use of my older music or performance footage for this project, even though there is no mention of either of them or Big Machine Records anywhere in the film.
Scott Borchetta told my team that they’ll allow me to use my music only if I do these things: If I agree to not re-record copycat versions of my songs next year (which is something I’m both legally allowed to do and looking forward to) and also told my team that I need to stop talking about him and Scooter Braun.
I feel very strongly that sharing what is happening to me could change the awareness level for other artists and potentially help them avoid a similar fate. The message being sent to me is very clear. Basically, be a good little girl and shut up. Or you’ll be punished.
This is WRONG. Neither of these men had a hand in the writing of those songs. They did nothing to create the relationship I have with my fans. So this is where I’m asking for your help.
Please let Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun know how you feel about this. Scooter also manages several artists who I really believe care about other artists and their work. Please ask them for help with this - I’m hoping that maybe they can talk some sense into the men who are exercising tyrannical control over someone who just wants to play the music she wrote. I’m especially asking for help from The Carlyle Group, who put up money for the sale of my music to these two men.
I just want to be able to perform MY OWN music. That’s it. I’ve tried to work this out privately through my team but have not been able to resolve anything. Right now my performance at the AMA’s, the Netflix documentary and any other recorded events I am planning to play until November of 2020 are a question mark.
I love you guys and I thought you should know what’s been going on.
