I think that this quote shows that Andrew Ryan wanted no government, no one who’s reputation proceeds them. This effectively gives a glimpse of Andrew Ryan’s values at the very beginning of the game.

What is the best Bioshock/2 weapon for harder difficulties
Bioshock and Bioshock 2 have lots of weapons. From the basic wrench to the high damage crossbow, which one is the best for medium and high difficulties?
My opinion for the original would be the wrench with the wrench jockey for early game, the fully upgraded shotgun for splicers, the crossbow for Big Daddies and some end-game splicers, and the chemical thrower for the final boss, Fontaine.
For #2, my opinion would be the drill with damage increase against splicers, or the shotgun with tesla and clip size upgrades against big Daddies, bosses, and tougher splicers.
How Bioshock Infinite’s ending affected us and may affect the the incoming sequel
Bioshock Infinite’s crazy ending left most of us amazed. It’s considered one of the top video game endings by multiple sites and game critics, but it can change how you think of the whole series. It implies that there are infinite parallel universes where anything can happen.
This idea allows 2k to play around with the plot of future sequel(s). There could be a game where Rapture survives, or where it was abandoned before Andrew Ryan finished building it
This could be a good thing; 2k would have a chance to make an awesome game with a lot of open new ideas. But the new sequel might also turn out as a desperate, nonsensical idea, depending on whether 2k abuses the power given by Bioshock Infinite and it’s ending.
Bioshock: Rapture
Bioshock: Rapture is a book about the rise--and the fall of Rapture.
It’s overall a good book, and it clears up a little bit of info originally presented by the Bioshock game, but it’s nothing really exciting or new, and as of May 3rd, there has been no info or even talk of a sequel.
I know that Bioshock is old news now, and the prospect of a book sequel doesn’t seem very interesting. But, depending on where Bioshock 4 will take place, a book on it or even a book that connects Columbia and Rapture (which would have to be spiced up with some new characters) would be cool, and most likely, profitable.
Project Parkside
Where do you think the setting for the new Bioshock should be? I think it should be back in Rapture, but it should connect Rapture’s story back to the city of Columbia (the setting of Bioshock Infinite) in some new ways. I would also be fine with an underground or island city, as long as it referenced the old Bioshock games.
Bioshock Parkside
The new Bioshock (AKA project Parkside) is being worked on in a top secret studio by at least 3 former members of Hangar 13 (the studio that developed Mafia 3). They have been confronted about it multiple times, and their responses are always something like “we can’t talk about it”.
