This is the place where I'll be posting all my Sockmuffin work-in-progress pictures. Whether it be orders, new stuff for the shop or other projects, if it's in progress, it'll be posted here.

Bit by bit (and a lot of little discarded shape-test heads later) this moogle prototype is starting to come together! (its pom (... attachment? Antenna?) will be black, not red, I just used scrap yarn in the test)

Rising from the grave to post these WiP cube-buncles. Pretty sure my gf has posted these (the finished ones you can see in the bg) on her tumblr already, because I am NOT keeping up with my social media accounts well at the moment >_>

This handsome chap is finally finished, and has been shipped to his new owner!  I hope they like him as much as I do <3

All the bits and pieces are now pinned in (approximately) the right places! When I get back home tomorrow, I'll be starting on sewing everything together - we're on the home stretch!

Phew! After a few delays, this latest black talbuk is starting to come together! All his pieces are cut and pinned, and his head is looking pretty good so far. Lots and lots of painstaking handsewing is my next task \o/

Latest custom talbuk, Orobas!  Some turnaround pics of him, plus the sketch I originally did to give an idea of what his design would look like plushified (the colours of the sketch aren’t accurate).  He was a lot of fun to work on!

Orobas, without hair or stripes! They always look so naked at this stage o_o But! He stands well, even without the little pellets I put in the feet to make them less top-heavy, which is a good start! Next up, fluff and stripes, and sewing all his bits together, and he's done :>

The first WiP update for little custom talbuk 'Orobas' is here! So far he's just a head, but isn't that where all the personality comes from, after all? :D

Many apologies for the lack of WiP pictures in the interim - my desk was a crazy cluttered mess while I was working on these, as I was also making items for a small stall my crochet group was going to be running at a faire while I was away.  I really hate posting photos when I have multiple projects all piled on top of each other -_-   ... I’ve also noticed that my theme’s broken a bit while I’ve been away, so please bear with me while I fix that also.

SO UH WOW I’VE BEEN GONE FOR A WHILE, HUH? My latest project involved getting these two cuties finished before we went to Distant Worlds in Amsterdam and for some reason, drafting the initial pattern took me bleedin’ months o_o I started in December and STILL only just had the two of them done before we left.  I love them though - as you can see, they’re really expressive and versatile :> They’re designed so they hook over your arm/chair/vertical surface.  Pretty sure they’re going to be appearing in my shop mighty soon!

Merry Holiday Season to you all!

And I’d like to give my deep apologies to the people I told I was planning Christmas-themed pachimari plushies this year (and in fact anyone who’s following me expecting plushie-related goodness) - I had the designs sketched out by the end of October, I ordered the materials, and then circumstances stepped in and I simply haven’t had the chance to make anything (that’s also why I haven’t been taking commissions for the last couple of months).

New for Halloween 2016, this adorable Overwatch inspired ‘Spoopimari’ is just waiting to wriggle his way into your life!  Equipped with little bat-wings for fluttering around your head at night, he also has a squeaker inside him so he can squeak in your ears while you sleep.  

This pumpkin-coloured cutie is 23cm tall from tentacle to tip, and has  a machine-embroidered face and hand-sewn felt 'sucker’ details. If you love him more than anything, ever, you can find his Etsy listing on my shop here!

Dreadful night-time photo that I couldn’t resist posting because I’m so close to finishing this little guy ( he needs the felt ‘suckers’ on three of his tentacles sewing on, and that’s it T_T ) but I’m falling off my chair I’m so sleepy and he’s going to have to wait until tomorrow to be finished. Isn’t he cute, though?

I shipped this pachimari off today, and started on another! These little guys are so cute :<  We’re also brainstorming some Limited Edition versions.  Watch this space!
