i don't normally come here unless i have something to yap about.

but i do.

something i think the ISaT community will love dearly for their poor traumatized little time looper.

i've got a mod/fanmade sequel in the works for ISaT mostly because Adrienne said "it's your turn" and i took that to heart, especially because i too have RPG Maker MV and she didn't lock up all the assets and encrypt 'em all like OMORI did, and even then, it was basically just replacing some assets in order to mod it.

i MAY make it a proper ISaT mod that does a similar procedure to what some OMORI mods do in that you just replace assets, but i MAY straight up make it it's own separate thing to clarify that it wouldn't be infringing on canon? and also so you preserve your save data and whatnot? i'm not quite sure what i'll do

but i'll tell you a story

some people in Vaugarde are well aware that they're not the only people, and love exploring other countries, and, prior to the King's Curse locking everybody up in Vaugarde, there was a researcher/historian of other cultures that is in the (noncanon) lighthouse on the coast of Bambouche

his name is Johansson, and he studied the Country, and Mwudu, and all neighboring countries to Vaugarde, learning from the people who came from those countries, and even some visitation himself

and he loved journaling his experiences

he made notes, and documents, recording his retelling of his tales of travel

and then

the Country was lost

and he was in despair, losing so much work, so much of his understanding

but he remembers

the Universe

the Universe could help those who wished!

and so, he studied all he could about the Universe, giving himself headaches over and over, time, and time again, but he learned how to wish! he remembered tiny bits and pieces, as hard as it was, but he began to understand!

and then he was frozen, watching a child run off into the forest, he couldn't get down in time

i'm personally loving the idea of the deities of In Stars and Time being like. a bunch of college students or whatever hanging out in dorms, with Change God and The Universe sharing a dorm room.

speaking of the Universe, they *are* replying to Change God, it's just that it's beyond mortal ears and eyes. Change God is just nice enough to let us mortals peer into what they're saying in response

also no, i'm not headcanoning that, should the deities actually have personalities, that Change God would want The Universe -- moreso that Change God is very flirty and overall likes stirring shit up. after all, they love Change, it's their entire thing, and once The Universe gives, boom, change made.
