[Showcase 07] Firelight Feather

So! This is a showcase that I spent quite a good amount of time tweaking. Personally, I really love all of the themes that atmospherica created, so I suppose this showcase is just a way of showing my appreciation. Of course, I take none of the credit for this showcase, not even the tweaks. All credit goes to atmospherica (who deactivated, I think :c).

➲ The sidebar image, if you choose to use one, is automatically re-sized to 280px wide, so feel free to use any size picture. ➲ Five custom links are available, under the description.  ➲ The large sidebar background can be any size you want, but just for reference, the dimensions of the large sidebar are 300px by whatever the height of your screen is.

As for specifics in customization, I really went overboard with the colors this time.... There are 50 color customization options, 4 image options, 13 check boxes, and 15 fill-in options.

You can pretty much see the special characteristics of this theme from the options.

➲ Infinite scrolling is built in. ➲ Permalinks are shown on hover. ➲ You can decide how far from the top the left sidebar menu can be (you should adjust this based on the length of your blog title to make it look good). ➲ Posts are 500px wide. ➲ Tumblr controls fade in and out.

And that's all for now! This theme is best viewed in Google Chrome but looks fine in Firefox and Safari as well. It took me about a week to tweak.

『家庭教師ヒットマンREBORN!』（かてきょーヒットマンリボーン）は、天野明による日本の少年漫画作品。『週刊少年ジャンプ』（集英社）2004年26号より連載中。2012年1月現在、単行本第37巻まで刊行。タイトルの「家庭教師」は「かてきょー」と読む。「かていきょうし」の読みは誤り。略称は「リボーン」。

テレビアニメ化もされており、2006年10月から2010年9月までテレビ東京系列(TXN)で放送された。2010年12月には、テレビアニメの続きとなる「継承式編」が情報番組『サキよみ ジャンBANG!』のコーナー「週刊VOMIC」で動画コミック（VOMIC）として放送された（全4話）。

Chinchillas are crepuscular rodents, slightly larger and more robust than ground squirrels, and are native to the Andes mountains in South America. They live in colonies at high altitudes (up to 15,000 ft/4,270 m) in the Andes of Bolivia, Chile, and Peru. Along with their relatives, viscachas, they make up the family Chinchillidae.

The animal (whose name literally means "little Chincha") is named after the Chincha people of the Andes, who once wore its dense, velvet-like fur. By the end of the 19th century, chinchillas had become quite rare due to hunting for their fur. Most chinchillas currently used by the fur industry for clothing and other accessories are farm-raised.

Chinchillas require extensive exercise.

The chinchilla lacks the ability to sweat; therefore, if temperatures get above 25°C (80°F), the chinchilla could get overheated and may suffer from heat stroke.

Chinchillas can be found in a variety of colors.

The animals instinctively clean their fur by taking dust baths, in which they roll around in special chinchilla dust made of fine pumice.

Chinchillas eat and drink in very small amounts.

The diet of a chinchilla in the wild is quite different from one who is being kept as a pet. While a pet chinchilla will eat mostly hay, in the wild they eat:

I don't really know what else Chinchillas eat, but I need to put this bullet point here so that the viewers can see what a long bullet point looks like... like this, actually. Ha.

Because of the way they keep clean and their thick fur, they don't make very good pets for people with fur allergies or dust allergies.

Most chinchillas are shy when you first bring them home and won't immediately jump into your arms. You have to work with them and love on them to build trust so they know you are a friend and not a predator.

Chinchillas truly do make great pets; they are adorable and very soft. When you work with them properly they will also become quite social. They don't get sick or need veterinarian care very often, but they do require a bit of bonding time from their owners so it's important to learn as much about chinchilla care as you can.
