N hasn't ever really had much male interaction, so him and Thad hanging out would be life changing for him. I feel like the two of them post-finale would actually become super close, if not best friends. And their friendship involves a frick ton of tackling each other.
They just be in the hallway at school and Thad jumps on N's back. He'll usually announce himself tho bc Uzi also just jumps on N's back unannounced. But with Uzi it's more of a sign of "I want cuddles and don't want to ask and this looks suspiciously less like cuddles." If Thad jumps on his back it means "hey bro how are you I wanna punch you can you throw me through the wall to start things." N loves it. It lets him get all that big dissassembly drone aggression out in a healthy way. Nothing like wrestling the homies. He does accidentally body slam Uzi one day assuming it's Thad and then feels terrible tho. I'm also just imagine new students to Copper 9 High seeing this big intimidating murder drone pin this tiny green eyed kid to the floor during passing periods and everyone's just like yo that's how they be leave them alone no one's getting eaten.
Thad is extremely upset they won't let N on the football team. N doesn't even want to be on the football team. Thad genuinely thinks he does and goes on this whole tirade about racism to the coach before N points out that they let V onto the cheer squad. N comes to all the games though, and he likes playing recess football with Thad + the girls. He just feels like it wouldn't be fair to other schools if he was on the Outpost 3 team. Besides, art club meets during the practice time.
It's largely due to Thad that N isn't judged at school. And N is one of very few of Thad's friends who genuinely cares about him. A lot of people like Thad because Thad is nice and likes them, but like... A lot of friends don't always mean deep friends, y'know?
In any case, Thad is one of two worker drones in the school that can successfully say they've won a fight against a murder drone. (It was only once, and they found out the next day that N was coming down with a virus, but they both let Thad have the victory.)
N paints a skateboard for him and it's Thad's favorite thing ever.
Thad is also definitely the best man at the Nuzi wedding.
