“Eh, I suppose it’s something you get used to.” Not that one should get used to sexual advances, but being flirtatious was just part of France’s nature. And it wasn’t like the other ever pushed. If someone clearly said no, and to back off, then Francis certainly would. He knew when boundaries were being crossed. “I’m surprised you all aren’t like that. Makes us sound like a bunch of horny weirdos.” He snorted to himself. Really, he was a pretty ‘vanilla’ country himself. The others made fun of him for his lack of sexual experience - but he was still incredibly young. And his pure ideals were part of what made him America. “Can’t believe you didn’t hear about the aliens. It was freaking nuts, man! Tony, he’s my best friend. He’s an alien, too. But these aliens were super freaky. Called themselves Pictonians. Turned basically everything into boring, white blobs. Took away who we all were as Nations. I mean, an alien invasion could have been totes cool and all, but these were bad aliens. And yup, right when we started getting on their good side…England went and fucked it all up with his cooking.” He rolled his eyes. Seriously, those scones. They were like poisonous death bombs. Which made him incredibly wary of any cooking from any England, even if it wasn’t his own. At the mention of trying cookies from the other, Alfred raised an eyebrow, feeling very uneasy about that. “Uh….I’m not too sure, dude. I mean, you seem to like them, and that’s great. But, even if y'all have some pretty opposite traits of us…..I still don’t think that I trust cooking from any form of England. But, I guess that means more cookies for you?”
Matt is making a face once again, not quite sure how one could just get used to that, but to each their own. Maybe one day he’d run into a France from Alfred’s earth and get a long with him, but until that day he’ll be highly mistrustful of anthing pertaining to France. “Some of us probably are, but like I mentioned. I like to keep to myself for the most part, but I do enjoy spending time with Luciano. He’s uh...The counterpart to your North Italy. I think yours would be the bubbly one?” He hasn’t run into him yet, but Luciano could get pretty violent if provoked and he and Matt got along pretty well. Mostly bonding over cats and occassionally flirting with one another, not that they ever went much farther then that. Alfred sounds like a pure cinnamon roll, to precious for this world.
“Nah, never heard of them... So did they get you as well? I can’t picture it, you’re a bit to energetic for me to imagine you as a blob.” He brings his hand up under his face to tap his finger against the bottom of his chin. “If you could manage it, I’m curious about your England’s cooking. I can bring something from mine for a side by side comparison and you don’t have to eat it if you don’t want to.” Matt shrugs as it doesn’t bother him much if at all if you don’t try the cookies. He’ll just end up putting them away for later.
“On the topic of cooking... You cook right? I mean... I did hear this rumor that you only ate at burger joints, but surely that can’t be true.” Even Matt had to make himself food, granted many nations when they found out he was cooking would swoop in and nudge him out the kitchen. More so for the fact he tend to overcook things while distracted. But he was capable at making complicated dishes, but he was a bit lazy too and only made those when he knew people would be over. “I uh... I’ve made cookies with England enough times that I could probably make them if I had to. They just might come out a little burnt.” Matt rubs the back of his neck sheepishly as he looks to the side.
