BIOGRAPHY:
from the very beginning, sebastianโs family dynamic was quite different from the others. his parents met on tv through a dating show in the 90s and were lucky enough to find something that lasted. social media and influencing wasnโt a thing back in the 90s, so that wasnโt their claim to fame. sebastianโs father had found himself a career in tech, which soon become a booming business and raised his familyโs social class and status.
in 1997, the turner family welcomed their first and only child. instead of his mother taking a long maternity leave, she made the choice to go back to work just a few weeks after giving birth. that left sebastian at home with his dad. the bond between sebastian and his father quickly became one that was unbreakable.
growing up, his dad had always been the softie while his mom was considered the hard ass. dad was there for his first words, his first steps, his first day of school, etc. heโd met many boys at school who preferred their moms, but sebastian always preferred dad. he never minded having his mother at work and dad at home.
being so close to his dad, sebastian often put him on a pedestal as the perfect man. in fact, to this day, sebastian takes a lot after his father. growing up, his father was always presenting his mother with grand gestures of love. big bouquets of flowers, fancy dinners (that sometimes sebastian had to be sent away from), tickets to big events, etc. his dad made their home so full of love and was the perfect image of a man who loves romance. something that developed within sebastian as he grew up.
in elementary school, he took to many different instruments. he learned to play piano, guitar, cello, and bass. his family was always filling the house with music, so it was only a matter of time before sebastian caught the music bug. with this interest in instruments, his interest in songwriting grew as well. of course, they were very bad at first, but over time he got better and better with it. soon enough, this love of music mixed with his love of love, putting him right in the sweet spot and creating love songs.
in middle school, everyone called him a little casanova. he was falling in love (as much as a seventh grader could fall in love) with a new girl each day and was getting his heart broken just as often. one would think constant heartbreak would deter him, but to this day, he still wears his heart proudly on his sleeve.
in high school, sebastian really developed his boy next door persona. he was the guy girls would tell their parents they were with when they needed an alibi, he was a shoulder to cry on, and he was all around the guy you would want to be friends with.
the minute brooks, mason, and sebastian formed their band is one that sebastian will remember for the rest of his life. the three grew extremely close really fast, and it was like he was no longer an only child. he gained two brothers in mason and brooks, something he never thought heโd have the opportunity to have. the way they clicked with their personalities and their music truly made them a force to be reckoned with. nothing beat the band experience-- sleeping on the buses, all-nighters working on melodies and lyrics, the high as they exited stage for the night. that was, until it all fell apart.
the band breaking up was hard for sebastian. it was a world he had gotten used to, one he had expected to carry on living in for at least a decade. he somewhat knew tensions were high behind the scenes, but he always tried his best to play moderator between mason and brooks. this often ended in the two storming off and leaving sebastian alone, but he was willing to keep at it if the others were. their last gig together, though, was one of the most embarrassing nights of his life. partially because he was left alone on stage that night, but also because he felt the whole scenario reflected poorly on him. he couldnโt keep the band together, despite his best efforts.
but just like the other two, he carried on as a solo act. he had always had the capability of working on his own, he just preferred the band life over the solo life. still, with the band already getting his name out there, it didnโt take long for him to find his footing in the music industry. when he first joined the band, he asked his dad if there was any way he could help sebastian figure out different production software and together they spent many months trying to figure out what made a good sound and what didnโt. by the time it was time to release his own music, sebastian felt unstoppable.
