Thick warm air was touching your face as you were walking down the sidewalk, making you groan in annoyance and adjust your shirt. This hot weather has always been your least favorite, creating damp patches on your clothes, making you sweat 24/7 and irritating you by how difficult it was to get a closer parking space at the bar, which leads you to walk down the street to get to the entrance. It wasn’t by any means something you enjoyed.

The cold metal of the door cooling your hot palm, making you let out a sigh in relief that only intensified when you walked in the bar, welcomed by the icy-cold breeze of the AC. A small smile on your face when Niki, the bartender, greeted you and sent your way a friendly wave.

She was the only one of the south part of town that you could genuinely tolerate. Working at the bar to pay the bills and her mother’s medical treatment.

Your dusty boots were placing firm steps on the floor, while your eyes were scanning the whole room looking for someone in specific. A tall man with pale pink hair and a natural resting bitch face that would scare anyone that gets in his way, not to mention his broad shoulders, sharp jaw and strong arms that he would occasionally flex just to show off his muscles.

People call him the blood god, and although for you it sounded ridiculous, it does fit him well. Whoever dares to send his way a dirty look or say something about his brutal attitude would earn themselves a good round of punches and kicks, bathing the man’s hands with the warm blood of his enemies. The tall male might not be a person of many words, but he sure as hell knows how to make people fear him with a single glare.

His closest friends call him Techno, short for Technoblade, although the usual name that comes out of your mouth is idiot or dickhead. It was not a secret your hate for him. Everyone in town knew how much you despised Techno and how much he despised you.

Being leaders of rival biker gangs was the only valid explanation.

Techno would take care of the south and you of the north part of town; that was the agreement since the beginning. Neither of you or your people could cross the border, or else a new war would start. The only neutral ground was exactly the place you were in.

Pandora’s Vault.

A place where both gangs could interact peacefully, treat each other as people… Or at least try to.

For years, people have witnessed the terrific acts of both biker gangs, leaving the small town in constant fear. No one would be out of their houses passed ten, knowing it would be a big mistake on their part.

Men patrolling the streets, making sure no one was outside, and teaching a lesson to those who dared to break the rules.

And that’s exactly why you were in the bar. Dream, one of your closest men, told you one of Techno’s brothers had been seen prowling around your side, his intentions unknown until now.

“Technoblade!”

The tall man slowly turned his face to look at you when he heard his name being called.

“Ah, look what the cat dragged in.” the brown eyed man said, “Long time no see.”

His unbothered attitude only made the blood running through your veins boil.

“Cut the bullshit.” You rolled your eyes, “Tell your brother that next time he crosses the border, I won’t hesitate to send my men after him.”

“Huh?” his thick eyebrows furrowing, “I know you are not smart enough to know this, but usually people give the name of the person they’re talking about.”

Your hands curled into fists, you were gathering all the self-control left in your body to avoid punching his face in that moment.

“I’m talking about Wilbur.” You deadpanned. “If I see him prowling again on my side, I swear to god, you won’t see him again.”

That made the pale man give you a hard look, standing from his seat. His tall figure towering over you.

“Be careful with what you say, Y/n.” His husky voice filling your ears. “I don’t know what you’re talking about, but I would appreciate if you don’t threaten me with killing my brother.”

“I wouldn’t have to if Wilbur knew to stay in line.” You spat through your teeth. “You’re warned.”

With nothing more to say, you turned around, walking to the door and leaving the young male with some questions.

Techno kept his eyes on you, lingering on your bottom half a little bit too much. He wanted to follow you and make you eat your words. No one ever has dared to threaten him or his family, until now. Until you did. And even if that infuriated him, it also made him desire you more.

“I leave you alone one second and you start an argument with miss I wanna kill you.” The friendly voice of a blonde man was heard a few feet away.

A pair of green eyes with an excited glint in them was looking right into Techno’s brown ones. Philza was holding two bottles of beer, placing them on the table.

The pink haired man sighed, shaking his head, before returning to his seat.

“I didn’t start anything.” Techno said, matter-of-factly. “But she told me Wilbur crossed the border, what do you know about that?”

“He did what?” Philza furrowed his eyebrows, not quite understand what the younger male was saying.

“That’s why she was mad; apparently he was prowling, as Y/n would say.” He rolled his eyes, taking a sip from his drink. “Whether is true or not, I’ll talk to him.”

Technoblade has always had a complicated relationship with his brothers. Never the one to communicate properly, he’s had his fair share of fights with each of them.

His younger brother lives with his mother, away from the problematic biker lifestyle of his. Techno preferred it that way; his lifestyle was nothing his younger brother needed to be involved in. It would only be a weakness to be used against him.

However, Wilbur, the older kid, is the only one that’s been around Techno ever since. Both of them ruling the south side of town like the perfect leaders they were. Wilbur guiding him and helping him throughout these years. But if there was something he failed at, was keeping a straight mind when it comes to business.

You see, out of the two, the real power hungry was Wilbur, always craving more than he could handle. He had a need to be in charge of everything, enjoying the people fearing him. And for the same reason, he has caused so many troubles to the syndicate.

The most recent one: starting an unnecessary fight with the only person that hates Technoblade more than life itself, you. But he was gonna stop it in that exact moment.

“Techno, my brother!” Wilbur smiled at the pale white man, opening his arms to engulf him in an effusive hug. “It’s a great surprise seeing you here.”

Technoblade tried to return the gesture, but it ended up in an awkward pat on the back along with a grimace, trying to mirror Wilbur’s smile.

“How are you doing, man? Take a seat; I’ll fix a drink for you.” The curly brown haired guy walked to the small bar in his office, fetching one of his finest wines to pour some in a glass. “Here you go.”

“As much as I like to spend time with you, Wilbur, I didn’t come here just to chat.” Techno took the glass of wine in his hand, placing it down on the desk, almost immediately. “I wanna know why you crossed the border.”

Wilbur stopped right on his tracks, something in his glare changing. A hardened look accompanied with the softest of smiles, pretending nothing bad has happened. Whether it was for his own sake or his brother’s, he didn’t know.

“I don’t recall doing such thing.” He sat down on his chair, playing with the thin glass in his hand. “What makes you think I would go that far, Techno?”

The younger man let out an exhausted sigh, this day being too much for him already.

“We both know why, Wilbur.” His expressionless eyes looking at his brother, “I don’t wanna make a big deal out of this, but stay in our side of town only. I don’t need more problems than the ones I already have, am I being clear?”

Deep down, Techno hated being like this, trying to be the big guy out of the two. It was a responsibility he shouldn’t have to carry, but alas his brother couldn’t comprehend the serious issue in front of him.

“Do you fear her, Techno?” Wilbur inquired.

“What?”

“Do you feel intimidated by Y/n, brother?” Wilbur placed his glass in front of him, “She seems to have you in a chokehold. I wouldn’t be surprised if you were scared of her.”

Techno curled his hands into fists trying so hard not to punch his brother in that moment.

What kind of question was that? Technoblade fearing someone? Surely, that couldn’t be true. The man who easily killed five man in a row, the man who has terrorized half of town, the man who everyone runs away from, because they know he’s no good. Why would he be scared of Y/n?

“Why would I fear her?” He scoffed, “I can easily end her by just snapping my fingers, but I don’t have a reason to do it now.”

Wilbur sighed, standing from his seat, ready to give his brother a monologue that he won’t be fond of.

“Do you know why we only rule half of the city?” his firm steps echoing through the room, mixed with the upsetting tick of the clock.

“Because I want to have a peaceful life.” Techno explained, in his usual monotone voice.

“You shouldn’t be living here then.” The curly haired man scoffed at him. “Let me put it this way. There’s something in common between you holding back from a proper fight with Y/n, and people doing as you say.”

Two seconds were passed before Wilbur started talking again.

“Fear.” His wide hands resting on Techno’s shoulders, “That feeling that makes you draw back from a real confrontation with Y/n, is the same one that makes people shudder when they hear your name.”

In reality, he wasn’t far from the truth, but Techno would never admit it.

“Your childish bickering is not letting you see the whole picture, brother. It pulls you away from the many opportunities you have in your hands.”

“Like what?” The pink haired man indulged himself in Wilbur’s dramatic speech. “Since you seem to know more than I do, please enlighten me.”

“Isn’t it obvious, Techno?” Wilbur smiled at him, leaning in to whisper. “Own this place, have thousands of people following your lead, doing anything you want.” His grip tightening as he envisions a future that would never come. “Have the power we always wanted.”

The younger man stood up abruptly, shaking Wilbur’s hands off him. A tired look conquering his brown orbs, features never faltering as he said:

“What is obvious is that you need some vacations, some alone time to make you think clear, because as how I see it, you won’t understand the matter at hand right now.” Techno downed the wine in one sip, placing the delicate glass on the mahogany desk. “Maybe go visit mother for a while, I know she could use some help at the moment.”

His big boots stomping on the ground as bricks, creating vibrations that both men could easily feel. Had him been in a more philosophical mood, would have used it as a metaphor of the impact he has. Strong enough to make the ground he walks on shake.

“Whatever you decide to do, Wilbur, just don’t create any trouble.”

The older man stood in his place, watching his brother disappear from his eye sight.

"You will understand it, Techno, sooner or later, you will."

As a warning of the day ahead, the sky was a mix of different shades of grey; the cloudy weather bringing with itself a cool breeze, releasing people from the miserable heat of the past few days.

It’s been almost three weeks since the las time Technoblade saw you. A crazy look in your eyes, hands curled into fists, sweaty forehead and a stiff stance; he remembers perfectly.

It’s hard to forget it when it has caused him several headaches. After his little chat with Wilbur, he’s tried to be more aware of his brother’s whereabouts; a job for babysitting that the man didn’t want in the first place. And it was all to keep the faux peace between you and him.

For someone who claims to hate you, he’s tried a little too hard to fix the problem almost immediately. Whether it was to avoid a fight that wasn’t necessary or protect you from Wilbur, Techno didn’t know.

However, these past few days have been like heaven on earth for the young man. The constant banter between you two was exhausting and annoying for him. Techno couldn’t remember why this all started; when did the two of you start hating each other, what did he do to make you have so much hatred towards him?

The brown eyed man couldn’t lie, though. Your presence, or the lack of it that is, was something he took notice of easily. Not seeing your angry eyes sending daggers towards him, not seeing your crooked smile when someone made a joke you didn’t find funny, not seeing your messy hair after a wild breeze hit you before entering the bar. Simply, not seeing you.

And although he wouldn’t admit it, it was driving him crazy.

“Hey, Techno!” The mellow voice of Niki welcomed him once he got close to the bar.

“Niki” with a swift nod, the man returned the gesture. “How’s it going today?”

The blonde girl sighed, opening a bottle of beer to place it in front of Techno.

“It’s been good, a little bit slow though.” She admitted, a sad undertone in her voice, “Y/n and her people haven’t come here in weeks and they usually bring more costumers.”

There it was, his way to ask what was going on in your side of town.

“That I’ve heard.” He took a sip of his drink before continuing. “It’s weird she hasn’t been around here, don’t you think?”

He was hoping that would be enough to make Niki talk about what she knows, thinking he was being slick, but even the less intelligent person could notice his real intentions.

“Well, considering what happened, is very understandable.” Niki shrugged, cleaning an empty glass before putting it on the shelf behind her.

That picked Techno’s interest.

“What do you mean?” He asked, using his monotone voice to cover his need to know what happened.

“No one told you?” When Techno didn’t answer, Niki continued, “She was attacked by a group of men, they don’t know who did it, but apparently she got injured pretty badly.”

Many emotions started coursing Techno’s body the moment Niki finished her sentence. Disbelief, worry, anger, but overall confusion.

Who would have the balls to attack you out of all people? Techno himself knew what you were capable of, so it was utterly surprising for him that someone decided to go after you thinking they would win.

“I have to go.”

Was the only thing he said, before pulling out some money to pay for the drink. His large feet carrying him outside the bar and directing him towards his shiny bike.

Northside must be a battlefield right now; he wasn’t even surprise when he noticed the border was completely closed. Not a single soul could get in, not even the people from the neutral part of city.

How he got in will always remain a mystery, as well as how he got into your apartment building. Technically, he didn’t have to go through all that to see you, he had nothing to hide, yet Techno didn’t want to deal with your men and probably be kicked out from your part of town.

In all honesty, the reason of his actions were unknown. The tall man cannot comprehend what was going through his mind to get on his bike and go check up on you. However, there was this urge to make sure you were fine and that his mind was just playing tricks on him, making him think you were dying.

Worry, once again, pumping through his veins, and as strange as it was, it didn’t bother him that much this time.

The wooden door in front of him was taunting, mocking. The constant thought in his head, “What am I doing?” But it was too late to think over the consequences, when without noticing, his curled fist was knocking on the door quickly.

The image of your tousled hair, bags under your eyes and an oversized shirt covering a big amount of skin greeted him the moment you opened the door. A surprised look in your eyes that took a few seconds to become rage.

Your hands, rather quickly, worked on closing the door as a rudely way to tell him to go away. Or as you would say, to fuck off.

“Wait!” His foot being the obstacle preventing you from closing the door. “I just want to talk.”

A scoff passing your lips while your arms were gathering enough strength to end this encounter once for all.

“I have nothing to talk to you.”

His pushing was making it difficult for you to handle the pain creeping up from your lower abdomen. Deciding to give up and protecting yourself from the earful you’ll get if your wound opens again, you stopped fighting against Techno, stepping away from the door.

A shy smirk was dancing on the corner of his mouth.

“You need to get better security.” He teased you, but alas, it was not the moment for that. “For once, I’m not here to cause any trouble.”

“I doubt that, considering you’re the reason I’m like this.”

Techno’s frown deepened after listening to your words.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” He shook his head, watching you rolled your eyes, “How could this be my fault?”

“I warned you, Technoblade, to keep your brother away from my side of town.”

And just like that, everything made sense. This is why he haven’t seen Wilbur around as much as before. He thought his brother finally understood it was not worth it, but apparently, he was wrong.

“This…” You trailed off, lifting your shirt just enough for his brown eyes to see your wound at your right side. “Is what your brother did to me.”

A nasty cut exposed to Techno, his whole expression changing.

“If you wanted to kill me, you should’ve done it yourself because now, I have all my people going after Wilbur.” You announced, “And I promise you, Techno, is not gonna be pretty once I find him.”

The tall man was doing a great job at keeping calm, not wanting to show the real feelings swimming through his mind. He was beyond pissed, and the moment he finds Wilbur, will be over for him.

A dark smile took place on your face, tilting your head while preparing your next words.

“What kind of bullshit is that?” You scoffed, letting out a humorless laugh. “I thought you were the one giving orders, what happened to that huh?” Your voice getting lower with every step you took, “did people finally get tired of you? Noticing their stupid boss is not good enough.”

“Stop now, before you regret it.” Something changing in his eyes, the once sorry look on his face was now replaced with the repressed feeling of anger.

“so, you’re coming to the gig tonight?” punz pushed himself off of the doorframe and walked further into the room, sitting himself down on your bed and picking up the belt, twisting the chains around in his fingers, your eyes watching him for a split second before turning back to the container on your dressing table that was full of eyeliner pens. “sam asked me to. why? do you have a problem with that?” you face the blonde and raise an eyebrow, holding a bold black eyeliner pen in between your fingers while the male behind you snickered to himself.

“no, darlin’. there’s no problem.” punz grinned cheekily, a slight shine in his eyes as he stands from the bed, still holding the belt in his hands. with confused eyes, you watched him leave the room, still clutching the belt, and shook your head as you turn back to the mirror in front of you, bringing the eyeliner pen up to your eyes for the last finishing touches on your eye makeup. “hey, y/n.” a soft knock is heard against the door of your room and you let your eyes travel towards another person stood in your doorway, that person being foolish.

a smile pulled at your lips as you mention the tall male into the room, “hi, foolish.” placing the cap onto the eyeliner pen, you get up from your chair and meet the brunette half way, immediately getting pulled into a hug and lifted from the ground. letting you down, foolish took a step back and grinned at you while pushing his wet, unstyled hair away from his forehead, it was clear he just got out of the shower. “how are ya, sweetheart?”

walking back to your dressing table, you start finishing the rest of your makeup while foolish leans on the back of your chair, watching you as you two talk, you were good friends with foolish, especially when you had gone to high school together. just as you were putting on your finishing touches, there was another knock at the door, foolish now stood next to you and was holding a brush that you were previously using and passed to him to hold for a second while you looked for another product. both you and the brunette turned towards the door and watched as a shaggy haired blonde walked into the room, his hands in his skinny jeans pockets. “c’mon, man, we have to go soon.” punz’s eyes then turned to you and he winked, a smirk on his face. foolish looked between the two of you as he witnessed the wink, watching as you grew flustered and turned away from the two males. standing up from your seat, you walk over to the two and started pushing them out of the room, “okay, go stay with sam, i’m gonna get ready.”

“yeah.” he smirked and held your chin, rubbing his thumb against your bottom lip before you jerk your head away as you click your tongue. “get lost, punz. that won’t work on me.” you shake your head as the rest of the boys in your living room laugh, patting the blonde on the back as he walked past. punz still grinned to himself, grabbing his keys and phone before turning to the rest of his bandmates. “ready to go? show’s in half an hour.” there was a sudden silence before all five males in your apartment started screaming and panicking, running around and trying to find their belongings as they rush each other around, punz grabbing his drumsticks, sam grabbing his bass guitar, boomer holding onto his bag in one hand while gripping his own guitar in his other hand, foolish was trying to get one shoe on his foot while the other hung from in between his teeth by the shoelace and lastly, ant, the last of the band members, was holding a guitar pick in his mouth while screaming at his boyfriend on the phone to hurry up and get ready.

you laughed at all of them and grabbed your own keys, taking your bag by the handle and heading to the door. “c’mon, guys. you don’t wanna miss your own show.” all five of them then headed out, sam being the last as he turned off all of the lights and held the door open for you as you swing the keys to the apartment on your finger. then you all leave for the club, ant quickly heading to his own apartment to pick up his boyfriend, with whom he lives with, and your group splits up into different cars. ant, his boyfriend, red, and sam in one car, you, punz, foolish and boomer all in the other.

It had to be only you that had to wake up in the early morning at 4:30 am. And it only had to be Minx that decides to start packing for a three-day trip to New York the night of the trip. Plus, it being the day of Thanksgiving made more of the regret loom over you. That is why Minx picked the earliest flight to NY, but that also means you all had to get up early.

Minx told you that she felt bad for being such an early flight, but that meant you all could have a whole day in NY and explore the city. She also told you she could get up earlier enough, yet here you are, she's dead asleep. Even after your alarm was blasting which would normally wake her up in frustration.

You rise out of your bed to stretch out the sleep and to wake up sleeping beauty. The cold floor touches your feet as you step your way to Minx's side of the dorm. You look down at her and tell her to wake up, there was no need for pleasantries when you were exhausted and you had to get ready to leave. For the rest of the group, Schlatt, Karl, and Alex were going to meet us at the airport. As for Tommy, Toby, and Wilbur. They are coming to your dorm at 4:50 for a carpool. Dealing with them in one car and at this time of the hour was going to make you regret your life decisions more than regretting going to New York.

As she didn't wake up at your repeated words you started to shake her shoulder to get her to wake up as the clock read 4:40 and that the boy would be here in about 10 minutes. Wilbur nods his head as he starts to walk out the door.

You watch as the boys grab their stuff once again, letting them go out first before you and Minx leave. She pats her hair down to make it look less messy but she didn't care that she was wearing her pajamas, she goes to grab her phone and keys. Making sure that either both of you didn't leave a charger or anything in the sort. Both of you step out to the hallway and close the dorm door with a lock.

Tommy, Toby, and Wilbur wait silently and once you lock the door the five of you start going to the stairwell. "What type of car do you have?" The rest of you greet each other with simple hellos and hugs. After so everyone sits back now to their original seats and the new part of the group huddle around in the same area. Sitting next to Minx. You both complain at the florence light shine annoyingly.

It was about half an hour before the intercom told everyone your flight was ready to start booking people in. By now more people started to come into the Airport and you were ready to leave. Your group leaves the sitting area for your designated area, once and finally getting onto the plane.

That plane ride felt as if went on and beyond for the first hour to no end. Watching as the sun starts to shine fully among the light blue sky and those fluffy clouds, it was quite beautiful. The bright yellows and oranges of the early sun. Just barely rising the skyline. You'd secretly became jealous of them, it just of been quiet and calm to be a cloud, floating above all the problems and watch the humans below with ease. Much better than being stuck beside Minx and Schlatt. Luckily they gave you the window seat, allowing you the best seating option to sleep in.

Alex and Karl seat in front of you, constantly talking and fully never seated in their seats. They were the loud couple that made the other patients on the plane annoyed and wished they would just shut up, causing one of the airplane attendants to come up to them. Basically telling them to shut up as it was around 6 in the morning by the time you were in the air and obviously, people were trying to catch up on their missed sleep.

Tommy, Toby, and Wilbur were across the aisle next to yours. While taking your seat they all waved at the group as they didn't carpool with you or just see them mer of minutes ago. It made you softly chuckle at the moment. But now they were all passed out on each other. Envy of them as you tried your hards to get some sleep.

After that you do fall asleep, only to be awake by Minx. She lightly tapped your shoulder, gently waking you up. You blink heavily as it became so bright all of a sudden due to the slight time change and that you left the window sheet open.

You tiredly question, "Did we land?" Yawning as you ask her. "Yes, get your shit together?" Minx looks at you, making sure you weren't going to pass out before stepping off the plane. Somehow still trying to push your buttons this early in the morning as well. You stretch out your arm, well as much you can in the small amount of room in your seat, best not to hit Minx beside you or the cabin walls. You wanted to stretch out your legs, but again, there wasn't much room to do so. Heavily signing at the lack of room and the sudden feel of being uncomfortable. The only thing you want to do at this moment was to get out of this plane and get on the ground.

Luckily your wishes came true, along with grabbing your luggage from the upper storage compartments and whatever you had out, you quickly shove your phone in your pocket and start heading out with Minx and Schlatt. The airline attendants waving you off the plane, most likely glad Karl and Alex were getting off. They were probably the loudest couple on the plane.

Stepping into the airport was like hell on Earth if it could possibly be. It was packed to the brim of people shoving their way to the lines being calls along with the majority of people sitting in those seats waiting ever so much for their flight to be called so they could run their ass to get on. Definitely regretting your life at this moment. With a sudden maneuver, Minx was linked with your arm, ready to go through that circus. She glances at you by her side. Slightly worried about what was about to happen. "Let's go gang." You hear Schlatt say nonchalantly, like the mess ahead of you wasn't that main issue pressing in your head. There wasn't even a clear direction to walk through, let alone to get out of this building.

"C'mon, we got to miss the mornin' rush." He looks behind at the group, from his position we all looked half dead. You all need to put your game faces on if you were going to tackle this obstacle, to be honest, you weren't ready, no one was. And that obstacle was trying to get to the hotel without someone getting lost, which was easier to say than do.

By the time you all were at the hotel, you'd lose three members of the group which we're Alex by getting distracted by the Aiport gift shop. Tommy and Toby looking amazed by all the NY light-up advertisements. Schlatt could care less about what happened to the rest of the group, we've all had a group chat for this trip with the address of the hotel, so if anyone got lost they knew where to go. That was slightly comforting to know. Even if we're all of age and basically grown-ups, some of us we're still childish, aka Tommy and Toby.

Making it into your hotel room was such a delight even if it took a hot minute to get there. You let your body fall into the bed. It was definitely uncomfortable and nothing compared to yours or Techno's bed where you wished to be at most. But this has to do. But that is also what you get when you plan a last-minute trip and book a hotel room where they were next to each other. The certain hotel rooms that it held were separate small one-bedrooms where everyone had the comfort of privacy. But the whole floor was just your group. You thanked Schlatt for not getting a double-bedded room for sharing. If that happened you for sure were going to pair with Minx, you love her, she's your best friend, but it's good to have your own room. If it was only for a few nights.

The next room over was Minx, so there wasn't much to separate to be left. Schlatt was also beside you in the next room over, of course, had to get the biggest room out of everyone because he was paying for most of the trip. As for the rest of the boys they shared the few doors next.

Hearing a hard knock on your door and with a swing of the door your meet with Schlatt, "We're all going to leave in fifteen minutes, meet us in the lobby if you're going to change." He says with a smile, "Where are we going, to be exact? To know what I should wear?" You question, you should have noticed his smirk slowly growing but didn't. "Something very nice." A quick wink and then he was off going to Minx's room to probably tell her the same thing as you. You close your door and go to the edge of the bed where you plopped your suitcase.

Opening it up with a zip, lifting it open to the outfits you prepared for every evening. Pulling out your white maiden-style dress with lace, you found this gem a couple of years ago at a vintage thrift store. The perfect pair with it was a black corset and platform shoes. Quickly grabbing a few rings and earrings that would look nice with it as it took a while to get everything on and it was time to meet everyone in the lobby. You take a hold of your phone and rush to the elevator down to the main floor.

As you meet everyone in the lobby to soon take notice no one was dressed up as you. They looked like normal street clothes. As some were already looking your way the few that weren't turned in were somewhat confused or surprised. But seeing no one dressed up that very much to toss your focus to Schlatt, who was in sweats and a hoodie. With a flash of a glare his way he already knew he was going to get chewed out by you, after all, he set you up.

"You really are an awful person, why would I need to look this good. You better be taking us to a restaurant!" You point your finger while stepping closer to him. He slowly starts to back up. "What we're going to be going to a restaurant?" Alex asks confused and glances at Schlatt, the whole group turns to him to hear his answer. "No. We're going on a Tour, with the expert-" He starts to tell and raises his arm to show himself as "the expert". But that was more than enough for you to get ticked off by him. "You really think I'm going to walk all over New York in this?" You flare your hands over your outfit and especially your shoes. Schlatt scoffs at first, seeing as you wouldn't really be walking but rather be taking taxis everywhere. He soon realizes with more expression from you and Minx what you truly meant, you know that you would get "cat called" which was just plain out harassment from random men. That was the biggest issue on the table.

He thinks for a few seconds, "What if I give you my hoodie? Or Karls?" Schlatt looks over to Karl, knowing that he wears a sweater all the time and he was right now. Karl widen his eyes at Schlatt, you were unsure if Schlatt planned this all along or it just popped in his mind, but Karl being super sweet, "Here take mine." He offers you, which you gladly take. This wasn't the regular sweater he normally wears or what you've seen him in. It was like Techno's, or a grandpa style of a sweater.

Thankfully it wasn't all sweaty. You look to Karl to thank him, but you were quickly shut up by the shirt he was wearing. It was with plain thick letters which were black and replaced "love" with a red heart. The shirt says "I Love Milfs".

By now everyone takes notice and Karl looks at you all in confusion. "What?"

Your first stop, you step out of the taxi to be fronted with the Museum of Modern Art, you've wanted to go here for a while. You loved art and the beauty it held with every paint stroke, slowly but surely making a masterpiece. You were definitely going to take an hour or so to tour the whole Museum.

You also knew that tons of people come here to check out the art so you knew it would be packed, that and everyone was probably not such an admirer of classic artwork. You all ended up staying for an hour and a half. You also stand correct with Tommy be over with the Art quickly but Toby forced him to just stare at the pieces till he found one that spoke to him. Wilbur was a lover of Art so he stood next to you for most of the time while the little conversation of either the Artist or what the piece made either of you feel. Minx was exploring the place with Schlatt and Alex. Most of the time they were goofing off and trying to touch the painting which leads to security telling them off so they stopped. Then there was Karl who was always by your side, which was nice. He was comforting. He didn't understand most pieces compared to you, but he really likes your comments, just you expressing how much the artwork was so gorgeous. You were glad that he was with you.

The next spot on Schlatts Tour was the Time Square, where you spent more of the rest of the day, you didn't worry that much because you had two other days to go everywhere else. Plus Schlatt wanted to shop around for some new clothes.

Everyone in the group decided to split up to go looking around and shop as it was easier for everyone that way and you agreed. Schlatt quickly put an address on the group chat saying that where we all meet after a few hours, you all agree and go your separate ways. Wilbur, Tommy, Toby went in a group and headed for McDonald's for a quick meal as the boys were hungry. Alex and Karl went off as a pare and were going to take photos with the knock-off TV characters. Which left Schlatt, Minx, and you.

It was a good time to message Techno as it's been all day since you've chatted with him and gratefully the time difference was too bad. Illinois was only one hour behind NYC.

Y/n to T:

Hey! How's your evening going so far?

Sure it was a simple text but that was enough to not get Minx or Schlatt's attention. But what did was when Techno texted you right back which caused you to smile at your smile. You were correct what you thought earlier, Minx was going to poke fun at why you got excited and dorky.

Right on cue, she was. She swiftly takes a hold of your phone from beside you and your grasp, you give her a quick warning that she shouldn't be doing this. She ignored your pleading words and pulled Schlatt to her, which he puts his phone away. You didn't even have enough time to read his message back to you, Minx and Schlatt decided right there and then to read it out loud for you. "Oh it's from mystery T Schlatt, remember him!" She patted his shoulder as you stare blankly at them, you weren't going to be played by them. "Haven't you two been dating for a while now?" He asks not really looking for an answer. She pulls Schlatt closer to your phone both looking down and reading his text.

Ignoring them both you continue to walk down the many huge corporate branded stores. "To you, as in Y/n, It's been good darling. I hope you use that money for some pretty for you, can't wait to see what you buy ;)" Okay, you definitely know he was talking about getting lingerie. "Oh my god-" She scrolls up a tad in your messages, which practically made you jump for your phone. Only to be stopped by Schlatt who raises your phone above your head and reads the rest. "He sent you 200 bucks!" He blinks at the amount, but to be completely honest that would only buy you two pairs of good underwear. Your face says it all. You embarrassingly start to try to hide your face that was bright red.

Minx watches how you were reacting and felt bad for teasing her friend.

"Give me the phone Shat." She looks up at him. when he looks at he rolled his eyes, "I told you to stop calling me that-" She grabs your phone and politely hands you your phone, her face screaming out that she was sorry. which you didn't reply with its okay, you need to let her know what she did was wrong and that you were upset. Not only because she read the messages, but how easily she could have fidged out who T was. For God's sakes, you've written down his actual name, and then it would have been out. You couldn't let that happen.

Minx on the other hand didn't have a clue on who T was actual, but was planning a way to help you got. She reaches out her hand to you, quirking an eyebrow at her. "C'mon, I'm going take you to Victoria's Secret." She wiggles her eyebrows at you, trying to lighten the mood from everything that happens. You crack a small smile, which she smiles at. "Wait that place with all the boobs?" He asks all the while with a growing toothy smile, he is such a teenage boy at heart. "It's on manikins Schlatt." You correct him, chuckling at how excited he's become at the thought of going into that special store.

You hold onto her hand which she leads into as linking arms with you, just as we do on campus, now with Schlatt beside you. "Now, what color lingerie does he like on you?" You swallow dryly at her question, you didn't even know. By the way, you didn't answer she practically figured that out and had a simple solution to it. "Nothing looks sexier than black." She grin, waiting for your response. Which you didn't have much time to express as Schlatt thought it was the right time to butt in this one-on-one conversation. "Black really? Don't you think that a bit overdone?" He says nonchalantly. "No, red is overdone. Black goes with everyone nicely." She says matter of factly, you decided to say quiet for the conversation, just for now. "I think a light blue would look cuter." Schlatt looks down at Minx, she simply tells him, "We're not going for cute. We're going for sexy." She mocks Schlatt with the word "Cute". Causing you to laugh at them both.

Both turning to you now, "Pick a color, light blue, like a weirdo. Or pick the better color, black." MInx asks you, clearly annoyed with Schlatt's given choice of color for lingerie. Both weren't a bad color to pick but there was a clear winner. You wanted to look best for your man. "I think black." You sheepishly await for Schlatt to scruff at your answer and go on and on about why that color wasn't the best, and he did. This trip was going to belong if this was happening on the first day.

After going to Victoria's Secret and buying a cute matching set of lingerie, in black to be added. You soon meet back up with Karl and Alex in the M&M store. They both bought matching M&M sweaters, which you should have guessed by now. Then you meet Wilbur, Tommy, and Toby at the designated meet-up area.

You all wait outside the building, looking up at what the sign says. Of all the places Schlatt could have taken you in New York he picked this place. 'Pizzeria Perfect Pizza' As you all eventually turn to him with a questionable face as to why he brought you here as it was the late afternoon by now. "It's the best pizza around! We'll buy like four so we can all eat as much as we want!" He explains with waving his hand at the building. That went it came to your head, this was your Thanksgiving dinner plan. The thing Schlatt promised was going to be top-notch. He must have seen you puzzle altogether, "Trust me. You will love it!" He tries to refinisher the group but you speak up. "Is this what we're having for Thanksgiving?" Finally, he drops the smile, "Yes-" He was shortly cut off with groans. He did tell you all that the dinner was going to be an amazing feast, which you should of guess wasn't true. "Hey! You try to find a cooked ready-to-go turkey on Thanksgiving day in New York!" He raises his voice to you all, fed up with how dramatic you all had become. But he only said the truth, there was no way you could find what you needed.

This was the best next option.

Schlatt goes in with Tommy to go pick a few pizzas for the group as the rest of you wait outside as the restaurant was full and you didn't want to pack it up more if you were getting take out.

Karl looked over to you, which you catch him doing so. He must have thought this was the perfect time to walk to you as he did so. He stands next to you, he seemed nervous but the way he started to fidget with his hands. "So, what type of pizza do you like?" He asks rather fast, which caught you completely off guard so you question him, "What?" He rubs the back of his neck. "Um... what type of pizza is your favorite?"He asks again, this time around less nervous and fast. "I'm actually not the biggest pizza fan so probably just pepperoni." You kind of winch at your reply, curious at what his response was going to be. He could be one of those guys who just ramble on about a subject till they bore you out to death. Surprisingly enough he just nods, "That's a good choice." You look up at him with a smile, glad that e wasn't one of those guys. But that's when he became even more nervous.

He cleared his thought with a cough, "Hey, so, would you wanna maybe go get pepperoni pizza when we go back to campus? Like a date?" He coughs out, his face becomes redder than normal. You stand there, not wondering if you should go. You couldn't because you we're dating Techno. And you wouldn't, you're you found him cute the first time you met him at that party, but you and Techno weren't as serious as you were now. Plus you saw Karl as a friend, nothing more and nothing less. So it hurts to see him slowly knowing your answer was a "no". But before you could tell him he says, "Look I won't go crazy stoker on you if you say no." He awkwardly smiles at you, you return the smile and an airy chuckle. It was good to get that reassurance. "Karl, you are one of the sweetest people I know. Your Kind enough for not letting me drive drunk or crash at his house and think we slept together, you lend me your sweater. Look, there is so much about you that is perfect boyfriend material, trust me. But I'm sorry, it's a no." You look down at your feet, you couldn't watch the smile fade from his face, it hurt to let him down even if that was the right thing to do. At that time you pull off the sweater he gave you earlier, symbolizing that this would never happen. He holds it between his side.

"You don't have to say sorry. It's okay." He tells you. You already feel the awkward tension between you too start to grow. "It's going to be a bit awkward with us, huh?" He chuckles at the atmosphere. You chuckle along with him, you didn't need to answer him as you both knew this would pass with a good time, even if it took a while, you were just glad he still was your friend.

You glance back at the restaurant to see if Schlatt or Tommy were still in it and they barely moved in the line. Letting out a slightly frustrated sigh, Karl tries to move the conversation along. "You still dating that older dude then?" Right off the bat, he could tell you weren't completely comfortable with him asking you that by the way your eyes widen and blush rising to your cheeks. He was about to just brush off the question and ask you something else, but you insist. "I am, he's not that much older than me actually." You try to correct him but Karl looks down at you with a deadpan look. "Alright, eleven years is kind of an age difference-" Karl's mouth open in shock which you roll your eyes at. "Eleven years older than you Y/n. C'mon!" He gestures with his hand while talking. "Oh stop it, it's not that bad!" You go to slap his shoulder at how absurd he was acting, but he dodged it.

With a cheeky grin, he starts to poke at your relationship. "You're dating an old man Y/n you just have to realize that." You point up to him, warning if he called him old again. "He is not old, he is 32." You would try to smack him again but he would dodge it again so there was no point to. "Exactly and you're 21, so he's kind of old." He laughs while saying it out loud as you didn't know that already. You were glad he found this funny, it was good to distract from the earlier part of your conversation.

But you we're more glad to see Schlatt holding two pizza boxes and Tommy with the other two. Finally, you could be talking about your relationship with Karl and we could go back to the hotel and eat. But you should have known you weren't going to get off that easily. "Are you talking about Y/n boyfriend?" Schlatt asks loudly to Karl, drawing everyone to your attention, you groan at his question and turn away from everyone. "Yeah, isn't he like 32 or something?" Schlatt asks Minx but everyone obviously hears. Tommy and Toby start giggling like a bunch of five-year-olds, as to Alex he starts saying that's it an eleven-year age difference. "I hate you all!" You tell them while walking away, Minx, trying to conceal her own laugher pleads for you to come back but you were done with this.

Getting out of the Taxi, you wait by the entrance of the hotel for the rest of the group to join you and Minx. You all were hungry by the time Schlatt, Tommy, and Toby came as they held the pizza and we're the last to get a Taxi. Once they arrived we all head up to Schlatt's room as he invited us all to join him.

Walking into his room you couldn't believe that he got this room, it had a mini balcony that could fit at least three people, a queen-size bed, and a huge TV. Of course, he picked the best room for himself.

You all decided on where to sit in the room. Alex, Karl, and Wilbur sat at the small table that every room had. Tommy and Toby sat on the bed, but Schlatt scolded them before, making sure that they didn't get any pizza on the bed. As for you, you sat on the floor by the balcony with Minx and Schlatt. It was really peaceful as the buzz from each conversation filled the room, it was definitely a different type of Thanksgiving, nothing that you imaged this evening t be. But that's what made it special, it was your strange Thanksgiving. Happy that you get to spend it with the friends you loved and cared for. Even if the first day of this trip started chaotically, you really liked it.

For drinks, Schlatt had that somewhat covered with the mini drinks in the mini-fridge, but as a team, we all got the drink from our rooms to get enough for everyone to get at least tipsy.

It was a rather nice dinner as the sun starts to set, the colors shinning down on the cheap hotel floor yet it still was beautiful. You stand up from where you sit, Schlatt and Minx barely notice as they were deep into their own conversation. You pull on the door to open it to the balcony, stepping out onto the ledge and letting the air blow relaxingly through your hair. Getting a fresh huff of air that filled your lungs compared to the hotel pizza mixture. Resting your arms onto the hand railing, letting your whole body start to relax. Letting it out heavily, getting a good sense of peace you've craved since getting here. Though the honking of cars was below, it didn't matter, just the peace away from everyone was needed.

You got this peace for a couple of minutes.

Until you heard the door opening, you didn't need to look behind to tell whom it was. They spoke up first before you can question. "So tell me what you were going to say in class?" Wilbur's voice carries in the wind, you sigh at the question he asks. Knowing what he meant, the day he found out you were dating your Professor. "Oh, you still want to know huh?" You hear him walking closer to you, picking to stand next to you. He also leans against the hand railing like you. "Yes, now tell me, how long have you two been together?" He nudges you with his shoulder to get all buddy with you. You don't blame him for being curious over this whole order, it was a juicy affaire, at least to Wilbur. "A while now, it started a few weeks after the beginning of the school year. And now to Thanksgiving." You give in and start to spill. "So around 3 months? Wow." He takes a deep breath, breathing in the cold air.

The sun slowly continues to set and the colors slowly start to vanish, "It felt like it only happened a week ago." You confess to your friend. "Is that a good thing?" He asks quietly, letting the busy street make its natural sound. "I don't know? maybe my perception of time as a college student sucks." You turn to face him with a half-smile, but as he turned to you is when that half-smile broke. "You know," He coughs a little.

"You know what they say when god builds a church. The devil builds a chapel next door." He speaks in a hushed tone, whispering it to you like it was a threat. He means no harm or foul play but, there is unease to it. "Get to the point already Soot." Looking back down at the street, curious about what the next words he mutters. "This might seem good right now, with you and Mr. Blade, but it's inescapable that something bad will happen. You are his student and he is your Professor. Nothing good shall happen when people start to gossip." He tells genuine. It was rare to hear much truth about your situation, well other than cheesy romance novels that speak otherwise.

"Do you plan on telling people about me and Techno?" You ask accusingly, just by the way he said that made you want to know if he would ever dare to. After he swore he wouldn't and pinky swears. Still, it put you unwell. "No, of course not. But rumor spread Y/n, so be careful." He lifts his arms off and turns away from you, walking out of the balcony with the glass in hand. Once he's closed the door you swallow the last sip of alcohol from the mini bottle.

Looking over your shoulder to the door, seeing Minx standing there. Worrisome in her eyes. Worry what made you seem so distraught, it was a silent stare, pleading for her to ignore what just happened. Minx couldn't hear what the both of you were talking about, yet she knew everything. How it was serious at how your body reacted to Wilburs words. At how you finish your drink in a rush. You break her eye contact to look back down. How you hoped she would never find out your secret.

After another hour of hanging out with your friends you all thought it was time to go to bed already and sleep off everything that happened today.

Going to your room, you take a much-needed shower and getting your outfit off. All you wanted this trip was to sleep. Hitting the bed hard but you were exhausted.

Well, not that exhausted by the way was aching for some needy attention. How you missed Techno's touch and how you craved it though out the day. Groaning at how you knew you wouldn't be able to sleep if you didn't finish yourself off first. Luckily you knew yourself better than anybody and could finish in about 10 minutes if you want to last that long.

That's when you hear your phone ring, right as your hand was starting to slip below your waistband. Slipping your hand up and out to reach for your phone that sat on the side table. Once bringing it towards your face to see who would call at this hour. Reading the name, reviling it was the person who you were just imagining and thinking about. Techno.

Right away you clicked the answer button, but you hesitate for a second to put the phone to your ear. Slowly you do so, his voice rings through your right ear as he speaks.

"Darling, how was your day?" He sounds rough like it was a long day. What could of happen during his day to make him sound so done? None the less you were glad he called you. "It was good, a bit weird at some points. How are you?" You stare blankly next to you on the white sheets, wishing it was him that filled that empty space. "You have to tell me all about it when you come back, but I'm fine... How was dinner for you?" He questions while letting out an exhausted huff. He must have been tired or stressed, you wondered why he was calling you at such a time if he was tired, maybe he was calling you for the same reason you picked up. "It was nice, we bought pizza and for drinks, we stole from the minibars." You giggle at the remembrance of how flustered Schlatt became when we thought it was strange that we had pizza for Thanksgiving."Pizza?" Techno asks, confused if he heard right. "Pizza for Thanksgiving, where the hell was I going to find a turkey on Thanksgiving in New York?" You press on, it became obvious. "Understandable, was it good though?" You can hear him shift in his bed. "Yeah, Schlatt show us around and told us we're to get the best pizza." You spill on the details, he didn't complain, he loved to listen to you. "That was nice of him." He didn't sound jealous that you where spending all this time with college boys, which kind of surprised you, as you thought he would. Techno didn't worry to much though, he knew you wouldn't do anything with anyone else, but he was a little jealous towards Karl. As he knew he like you, but Techno didn't need to be threatened as you rejected him earlier this afternoon, but you weren't going to tell him that now.

Wanting to keep his mind off of the other boy, he changed the conversation, "I just wish you were here with dinner with my dad. I told him about you, are you okay with that?" He quickly questions as if he did something he regrets. "That's fine Techno." You lightly chuckle, "Wait - Did you tell him everything?" You slowly say while amplifying 'everything'.

He yawns before answering, "If you're asking if I told him that you're my student in class? Then, no. I didn't tell him that." You could hear the smirk from his side, but you silently thanked him for not putting you in that part. "But I did show him a picture of you, he thought you were very pretty. He was very happy for me." Once again you could see that smirk plastered on his lips as he speaks so highly of you, he would of loved showing you off to his father. Proving such beautiful can be held and luckily for him, he was the one whom got to hold you. During day or night, whichever pleases you the most. "I wish I was there, from what you say about him, he seems like nice company. Like on a road trip. I can see him talking about his early years and the adventures he's been on. Correct me if I'm wrong." You talk whistle leaning more on your back, you know Techno could hear you moving on the sheets.
