I live
(lysithea) i care her
(edelgard & lysithea) and somebody’s listening at night, with the ghosts of my friends
“I crave affection; and run from it.”
— A.M
Studying themselves to death. The words seem to settle on Lysithea’s conscience and she lowers her gaze towards her plate. Yes, some scholars do study themselves to death, but as far as Lysithea is concerned, she would rather die studying and doing what she loves rather than simply waiting for it.
She smiles suddenly, brushing the horrid thoughts aside. “I enjoy myself,” she replies, “besides, doing what I do helps my friends and colleages. That is what matters to me. Doing all I can, for as long as I can.”

stubborn muses: ACCEPTING
@theednygma asked: “at least let me clean the wound!”
“I said I’m fine.” Eyes as pink as the tip of her nose glare at him with determination. The wound in question, a fairly bad scrape on her arm, is oozing some blood, but she is against the idea of him touching her. “Look, just. . . Just give the gauze to me and I’ll take care of it, okay?”
the haunting of hill house starters: ACCEPTING
@listlesscholar asked: ❛ You tried as best you could. ❜
The words are of no comfort to her. In fact, his attempt at soothing her is entirely overshadowed by what Lysithea considers one big FAILURE. She watches the last of the enchantment crumble like ash from where she rests on the floor. Such a spell takes its toll on the girl.
The disappointment, the despair, the sadness: it is instantly replaced with fury. And, without a thought, that anger snaps at the boy. “I don’t want your sympathy,” is hissed at him as she climbs to her feet.

rumor asks: ACCEPTING
@vonhrxsvelg asked: Rumor has it you wander the halls of Garreg Mach in the middle of the night and ask the unlucky people still awake for spare pastries. I've heard you accidentally scared Ashe doing this.
“Excuse me?!” The voice becomes a bit shrill as she speaks it. Lysithea’s eyes go huge. “The audacity! Well, I never - I - who started that? Was it Claude?” The young mage’s cheeks turn as pink as her eyes and her small fists ball up. Evidently, this particular rumor has her seething. “When I get my hands on that no-good - ugh! I do not wander the halls to ask for pastries! And I can’t help that Ashe gets scared so easily. . .”
Send “Rumor has it...” And a rumor about my muse
He certainly has the youth’s attention. Her hands are politely clasped in her lap, but they squeeze just a bit tighter. Ah! This is truly a fatal flaw of Lysithea’s: she has a deep love of dark, twisted stories, but they scare her senseless! As long as Reaver keeps his stories away from talk of ghosts, she should be fine.
“Things that look harmless,” she murmurs, contemplating. Like herself, perhaps. “Like mermaids, I suppose? Or sirens? Or... Harpies, even!”
She seems to excite herself. Indeed, Lysithea held great interest in these creatures, and in the fantasies Reaver spoke of. “Brides... No I suppose none of them could have possibly survived such an attack.”
She is, as a matter of fact, BUSY. And furthermore, the business that calls to her is to aid him; She’s been neck deep in battle strategy all afternoon. Pink eyes will shut and Lysithea inhales deeply. “Claude,” she looks at him, “Don’t you think we are a little too old for schemes? What’s this about, anyway?”
being here reminds me that I’ve never actually finished any of the three houses endings and I should uh really get on that huh
random asks: ACCEPTING
@local-meme-man asked: Could Lysithea still have kids after the experiments? Or would she die in childbirth?
It’s highly likely that all the experimentation would have caused Lysithea to be infertile, or at the very least, would cause many complications within the possible pregnancy. However, Lysithea herself never thinks of having children because she knows her lifespan is very limited. Even if her lifespan wasn’t shortened, she would be too afraid to pass on her circumstance to her child. It is easier for her to not think about matters like this. Because she knows about her life expectancy, she has pushed the thought aside. She would rather focus on doing all she can to help the cause than to worry herself over such trivial matters! And besides, it hurts too much to think about.
