Messing around in a character creator is reminding me how many Arknights characters are wearing off-the-shoulder jackets or similar. It's an interesting design choice—the bulk of the open jacket hangs behind the character, so it doesn't obscure the detail of the rest of their outfit while still building up their silhouette. Their hair/tail/weapon can also contribute to the background shape. (This two-layer effect is notably more common among 6* operators, giving them extra presence.)
Anyway, this seems like a good time to remind you of the essential outfit elements to wear to your Rhodes Island job interview:
Infection monitor
ID card holder
Boots or trainers
Off-the-shoulder jacket or buttcape (v. important for the top-op job)
Belts with side-release or ladderlock buckles
Tactical snack pouch
Dangling tags, plumb lines or straps in an accent colour
A shirt collar or choker is recommended, but not compulsory
Overall, your outfit should be layered and loose-fitting. Additionally, make sure the fabric making up your outfit includes at least one of each:
An identifiably textured material (clear plastic is a good choice)
An area printed with an emblem and/or text
A mystery section that is unidentifiable as belonging to any particular garment
You're welcome to artfully display your oripathy lesions as part of your work wear, but Rhodes Island does not discriminate with regards to Infected status when making hiring decisions.
