Brooklyn house week - day 4 - studying
Day four! I chose the prompt "studying", and I made little sketches of the character's desks at the brooklyn house and headcanons about them.
Light blue desk, the first desk that was really his (when he traveled with his father he studied on whatever table he could find)
He's the kind of person that owns one [1] pen and finishes all the ink before buying a new one
His pencil case is "the most boring thing in the world" (Sadie's words), so she gifted him a sunflower kaychain to "spice it up a little". He secretly loves it
The basketball is a little squishy fidget toy Khufu gave him
He has color coded copy books (red for languages, yellow for math, green for sciences...)
On the post it there's his Duat locker code
The two hieroglyphs depicted here are the one for "protection" (n-dah) and the one for "water" (maw)
It used to be her mom's desk, from when she lived with Sadie's grandparents
There's still "RB" (RuBy) engraved
Sadie used to hate it, she wanted a bright red one
Now it's one of her more tresured possessions
She brought it to the brooklyn house via Duat
On the side there's "S+E+L" (Sadie + Emma + Liz)
Order? She hardly knows her
Sadie's the kind of person that does her homework on random pieces of paper
The pink and green fidget spinner was given to her by Alex (I don't know how they met, but they must have at some point)
She has like 3 pencil cases
The black one is because she wanted to seem "mature" when she started high school
The gray one is written all over with signatures and messages from her school friends and the initiates
The pink one is the first one she ever had, for elementary school. She was really into She ra (I'm really into She ra rn, and I wanted to draw that sword)(ignore the concept of time, please, it's probably not right but I can't be bothered looking that up)
She was doing math but she saw something more interesting and left all there
Hieroglyphs depicted here: only one, ha-di ("destruction") on a spare paper in the pile on the left
Thanks for reading! This was my submission for day 4 of @brooklyn-house-week !
