Dolphi had managed to get herself more lost than usual. She had to stop wandering away from Wadanohara and the others. Sometimes she just wanted to see what was out there, but every time she ended up regretting going alone. She was scared to be without people she knew and her eyes were tearing up.

Hearing a voice address her, she let out a small startled cry. She stared at the person who spoke and shook a little. The tone of voice actually wasn’t so frightening and so she calmed down a little bit. They didn’t look like they’d hurt her. “…I’m lost…” Her voice came out quiet and meek.

With her yelp and her trembling figure, you are taken aback by your previous thoughts. Surely ─ for to think otherwise would be a cruel idea ─ if the child were so shaken, sea dweller or not, then she would not play a danger.

So you would hope, but you’ll allow her the chance.

Your posture relaxes and a curl tugs at your lips; an expression of congeniality sweeps ‘cross your visage and you smile at her. You knew him by the angles of his countenance and the downy locks which framed it. Words were sparse and few in between, lest they bear a notation of belittlement ‘pon your smaller stature for this or that. A friend, you deemed him to be ─ though debatable it would be if he thought the same. So oft on his own, rare the instance was that the other would initiate any discourse that did not correspond with the never ending stream of research he buried himself in. You learned quickly to leave him be most hours of the day.

Add was a fickle man; erratic and unpredictable, right down to the stride of his gait. His temperament was poor, and his sociability was anything but something credible. Harsh words flew passed paled lips sooner than a passing statement, and with your travels alongside him, this was something you came to adjust to. Still, unresponsive as he would so often be toward any genial gesture that you nor your companions would bestow ‘pon the quirky male, there would be no swaying you from your stance. However many times he would snap, you would remain just the same; a traveling companion, and a friend.

Regardless of how frustrating he became.
