     the voice of the god of spirits is a gruff and guttural thing-- tends to give any people that speak to her or pass her by quite a surprise, given her appearance . when she’s in her true form though, it takes on something like a reverberating quality . it’s particularly useful among the scores of demons she once paraded the isle of seirai with; the hollering and screeching and cackling, blotting out light as they swarm around, it’s not easy to discern where she is . think something along the lines of paarthurnax or alduin’s voice, from skyrim .

     unlike more canid reflexes of growling and barking though, berioth’s sounds are more like alligators-- the magnitude of her hiss and bellow correlating to her size . thus, as you might expect compared to the other hundreds of spirits that inhabit the isles away from narukami, her sounds are noticeably the loudest . she can to a certain extent make her hiss and bellow as a human-- the manner in which they are made though are not intended for vocal cords of that form, and it’s not a regular occurence .
