My promise was to do an earnest translation and localization of this on my own, but I realized too late that it just wasn't possible with my scarce knowledge of the language. However, the story deserves to be told, one way or the other 😤 This is the story translated by the deepl translation software, it excels in translating the best it can but keep in mind that cultural references, japanese naming/pronoun conventions, metaphorical readings are not guaranteed to perform well here. Add to that Konomoto is such an excellent writer, he managed to include some yano style rap too :D Nevertheless I hope you'll have fun reading it anyway, it does answer a lot of questions and fleshes out characters like Yano, Dobu and Sekiguchi very well.
