What is the essence of Life?

I ask about this question a lot. Can't help but wonder, am I really getting any near to life? Most of my answers are yes. I think, I am confident that I am living the life I have. I mean, we all have this life, but do we feel alive? This is a gift that I consider. But it doesn't mean that it's not painful.

Perhaps, Life is supposed to make you live, but are you alive or just existing? Is life about being happy? Is Having a luxurious life is really the standard of success? How can I live the life I want? These random questions getting in my head, and yet I am always hopeful to what tomorrow may bring. I have a hope that one day I can finally say I am successful because I live the life I want.

That I was ultimately happy with it. Yes, I feel happy at times. But there's just some point that you feel hurt. You seek for a sign that will help you feel alive. You see, I'm not saying I'm dead. But somehow it looks like that's what I'm thinking or trying to say. But it isn't really. That's how confusing and frustrating it is. To put into words what you have inside your head.

And you just can't tell anybody else about this. How you're feeling. Not even your closest friends or family. At least not in my case. Because I am afraid that I will be judged. And I hate that feeling. My family is there for me I think, and my friends are nice. But I just can't tell them. If you're in that crisis, I do hope you still seek for help no matter what, it's lonely and painful if you're going to take it all by yourself. As much as possible, try to look for ways where you can be heard. Please.

So this is probably life, isn't it? Ups and downs. Obstacles we're facing and we're all gonna face in the future, all of it are just part of this massive life. Living the life not just for yourself but for others. Caring for someone, showing that you care and that you really do. Maybe, for now we don't have all the answers we're looking for. But the world is round, just hang in there a little. And we'll see.
