I've already gone and added him to my list, but I'd like some sort of unbiased or second opinion on this.

Without naming the character, him and the other characters in his source have no canon orientation, and there aren't canon ships with how "early" on in said source everything is. The creator has some concept art celebrating pride month a while back, but that's noncanon material. He's also popularly headcanoned as gay because of a popular ship of his.

A good number of fans and I do headcanon him as queer/bisexual because of another semi-popular ship of his, and while that's okay, I feel like I'm somehow "wrong" for wanting to selfship with him in a loose friends with benefits dynamic. Is anyone else in a similar position or...?

skip haitus queue. imo since it isn't canon, it's fine. just bc the popular hc is that he's gay doesn't mean he is, ya kno? I think that also kinda erases sexualities like bisexuality and pansexuality n such. so as long as it isn't canon, I think it's all good . obviously tho I also dunno who it is you're shipping with so . and I haven't seen the pride art the creator made but if it's just like . the nonspecific rainbow flag that could mean the character is queer and not specifically only gay. that my two cents and like I said idk specifics but this is my opinion from . what youve said .

anyways i made artwork of me and my boyfie,, it was back for his birthday, which is feb 13th. im working on some artwork for me and black sapphire as well!!!!! i realized peach blossom was queer-platonic rather than romantic, meaning black saph and gray are my only 2 romantic f/os... so i guess they get special treatment by getting artwork /silly
