you can’t help but giggle, reaching over to tug his hands away from his face. "it's fine," you say, amused, and your smile is so warm, so sweet, that it completely undoes him.
before he can second-guess himself, he kisses you.
this time, he doesn’t hesitate. one arm wraps around your waist, pulling you against him, while the other stays tangled in your hair, holding you close. he kisses you like he’s been waiting forever, like he’s making up for all the times he wanted to but didn’t. and it’s soft, but sure—like a weight lifting off his chest, like everything has finally clicked into place.
when he pulls back, he’s grinning—completely, utterly lovesick. his face is warm, just like yours, and he feels so, so giddy at the sight of your wide, surprised eyes.

the day was just like any other, as normal as ever. you were hanging out with woonhak, having planned to do your homework together—though that plan had been abandoned a while ago. he had a ball in hand, lazily throwing it against the wall and catching it on the rebound for the past fifteen minutes, while you were lost in your own world, doodling absentmindedly in the back of your notebook.
but woonhak got bored quickly. you noticed the shift when he set the ball aside, his fingers drumming against his thigh, his lips pressed together like he was debating something in his head. his gaze flickered to you every few seconds, thoughtful, unreadable.
and then,just as you were about to ask what was on his mind, he just did it.
no hesitation, no warning—his hands found your face, warm and gentle, as he leaned in and kissed you.

his voice was impossibly fond as he murmured, “yeah,” pulling you in until you were against his chest, his chin resting atop your head. “definitely gonna need more of those.”
Just a random fleeting thought but imagine you're just an ordinary college student studying in Linkon National University, bumping into the Faculty of Aeronautics' star student Caleb. Dropping his hot coffee on his shirt, you apologized over and over again but he just pat your head and snorted, "it's fine... Pipsqueak."
Then, as days went by, you start to see him more often, passing by each other in the hallways in-between faculty buildings. You thought it was normal, until your friend mentioned something about your faculty building and his being pretty far.
He started getting bolder with you, and it took you a while to register until you realized he was flirting. He asked you out one day, and you accepted, and your first date was in his apartment, with him cooking for you.
It was cute. And heart-warming. You never felt an ounce of romance before this. When you excused yourself to go to the bathroom, you looked around, before twisting the knob.
Once you walked inside and flipped the lightswitch on, your jaw dropped in shock.
There were multiple photos of you taken from various angles in different places. A lot of them had blurry edges, and you quickly realized he hid behind corners to stalk you. Some of them were even taken inside your dorm. There were multiple photos of you sleeping, studying during class, even taking a bath.
As you turned around, he stood in the doorway, his smile bright, albeit deranged, "pipsqueak... I never wanted you to find out like this."
He bared his teeth, stepping forward, "but I guess life just throws in surprises, huh?"
Just like when you accidentally spilled his coffee on him.
I wanted to address this considering I've had an interaction with @peachiseas before and it wasn't at all a good one.
For context, @gb-patch hired new sensitivity readers. And while most of these people are generally normal, one person in particular is being completely unprofessional. I will say my personal opinion on this but first I'd like to lay out the facts.

In this post are several things Rose said. But I also want to add these from my interaction I had with them.
If you can't figure out the problem with what's happening here, I'll be glad to fully explain it and give my own thoughts.
Rose's words are transphobic. In my opinion. This behavior is completely unacceptable.
First of all, who the hell talks to the person who hired them like that? Seriously? There's a way to criticize something that's misrepresented without being literally disrespectful.
Why are they purposely starting discourse? Why would you do that? Your JOB is to give actual feedback, not to just start drama. Again, it is literally unprofessional. Then they erased Tamarack's BISPEC identity. The game is supposed to cater to everyone. You can't expect people to only ship her with women or nonbinary people because SHE IS PANSEXUAL. It's honestly biphobic.
I also want to discuss my conversation with them. Saying that Terry is "sexualized" because he has clothing folds and hips is still the stupidest thing ever. Do you expect his hips to magically disappear? Is he only allowed to wear baggy shirts now? What a misguided idea of trans people. That they have to look a certain way to be trans. It's honestly disgusting. And then they called me racist and transphobic for saying something about it. They used the "I'm black and trans" thing, not realizing I'M black and trans. And why would that even matter anyway?
It's honestly just terrible behavior. I thought this was just a person I disagreed with, but no. They're an actual asshole. GBLady doesn't deserve this. She hired you so she could write better characters and represent cultures more faithfully. But instead you act like an absolute jerk. There needs to be something done about this.

I also removed the anon ask, because I feel it was unimportant and nonspecific. It doesn't really add anything and it isn't evidence for anything, really.
Lastly, I would like to clarify some things. I don't think Rose should be fired. But I do think this behavior is unacceptable and close-minded for someone who's supposed to be a sensitivity reader. There should be an actual, real statement.
For the people saying that I'm helping a racist hate campaign, I do NOT support anyone who mentions Rose's race in this. My problem is with their words, not their race.
I also just really don't appreciate that GBpatch themselves said that I was cherry picking information when my conversation with Rose is COMPLETELY PUBLIC.
And for people who said I should've said something sooner....why would I? When me and Rose had that argument, they weren't a sensitivity reader. We were literally just two OL fans arguing about something. But it's relevant now. That's why I said something.
