PSA -- PLEASE READ!

hello, everyone! sen and keisuke's typist were figuring to create a legitimate form of the magazine that they both own. a side blog of sorts, where every month/or two weeks we'd post a RP-related "meet the muse" editorial + interview with a muse that we choose for that month. it'll be about 10 pages, followed by a few shots of said muse, trends we see in krp/jrp/whatever, music and blogs that we like. we're also gonna have a lil advice column at the tail end of it where people's sentiments can be answered! it'll all be done in consecutive posts with each page, kinda like a real magazine, but for rp!

what do you guys think, would you be interested in that? we're only gonna wanna do it if people are genuinely interested in reading it! it'll be a really great way to advertise certain roleplayers for that month and give insight into their character, their background, y'know, whatever! along with things of interest that we find and take note of that come up often in rp. we think it'll be a lot of fun and are really excited for this idea! what do you guys think?? tell us what you think!

(( I agree on what you said. I avoid the things pointed out by you but I guess each of us is different. Like I said, I have characters who are crime-based—you surely know what it means. I don't personally thing that rape, and the rest of the subjects you mentioned should become the main point of a thread, since I highly diaspprove of those in real life and they disgust me. I would not roleplay such a thing and I do see your motives as well. ))

( all i did was state my opinions. i truly am not here for the whole idea of "everyone is different, don't shame them for what they want to do/what they like" when what they want to do  and write about is triggering, distressing, incredibly problematic, has destroyed people's lives and ruined so many on the daily. i truly do not believe someone who is willing and desires to write about a rape scene even understands what happens, and what ensues afterward, and what the consequences should be. i do not want to hear, read, see, any misinterpretation of something that is so incredibly damaging and awful. i refuse to acknowledge perpetuation of a damaging ideology towards something so heinous and destroys people's lives on a constant daily basis. and truthfully, i don't really care what anyone else thinks or believes. i don't care what a character's background is or what they do. there's something fucked up in creating a character that someone has solely created to be destroyed/to destroy and finds entertainment in that. that being said, i have nothing else to say on the topic. )

( are you guys really that willing to write about a rape scene? domestic abuse? incest? are you kidding me? the fuck is wrong with you? don't make light of these situations. they are not forms of character development. stop treating them as lighthearted circumstances and as if they hold no weight. rping is problematic enough, but rping that? about a person who legitimately exists in the world that you're using as a fc/muse? have some respect. )
