hold up Danny DeVito directed the most influential film of my childhood?

Not only directed it but starred in it, took care of Mara Wilson (Matilda) while her mother was in hospital with cancer and even managed to get an advanced copy of the movie for her to watch before she succumbed to her illness. The man is a treasure.

The best story I’ve heard about the production of Matilda was: 

The scene where Matilda was dancing around her living room making things fly around to the song “Little Bitty Pretty One” was very nerve-wracking for Mara. She told Danny that she was anxious to do the scene, and he said, “You know why? Because you’re the only one dancing! We just have to have everyone else dance too! Then it won’t be scary!” 

So everyone–the crew, the rest of the cast, the people at the craft services table, everyone–danced along with the song, at Danny’s insistence. Apparently the only one who wasn’t doing the full on dance was the camera man, who just did a foot shuffle so the camera wouldn’t jiggle. 

If that’s not the sweetest thing ever I don’t know what is.

So aparently Naruto will have a new season this January. Even tough i wouldnt call it a “third season” since the story takes place two years after Sasuke leaves the village (that makes it 1 and a half year before Shippuden) and it will be called “Naruto no Senaka: Nakama no Kiseki” wich was confirmed in Jump Festa 2015. 

The new arc will focus on the chunnin exams while Naruto is with Jiraiya, wich will be held at Suna with Gaara as the new Kazekage.

Also, for those who enjoyed the ending of Naruto, there’s news on the upcoming Naruto movie that will air on August 2015

Yes, Boruto, Naruto and Hinata’s kid will have a movie that will focus on the new generation of ninja that appeared on Naruto 700. 

Kishimoto stated

“Even though the manga ended, I haven’t taken a break. I am currently thinking about a story between Bolt and Sarada. Sasuke and Sakura will be in it, too. I am also thinking about Bolt’s lethal technique.”

Also, rumors say that there will be another mini series in spring of 2015, following Naruto’s children and the new characters of the manga. 

Still there has been no confirmation on wether Kishimoto will be working on them. 

Finally, there is also the rumor that a ligth Novel will be released focusing on Kakashi. All of this are part of the project Naruto shin jidai Kaimaku Project (Naruto’s New Era Opening Project)
