A movie from the same person who brought us the infamous "5cm per second". Never once doubted about story quality but the ending was way too unpredictable and surely unusual among their movies. Very very very good movie. Certainly would recommend to anyone who doesn't have any prejudices against Japanese animation to stream or even better buy original copy. I can see myself looking for quotes from this movie soon enough. No wonder this movie tops Japanese box office this year and on its way to their hall of fame. Such a masterpiece.
