I know that he doesn't have an official name but— my personal headcanon is that his name is "Haru" it just— feels right y'know? Also, he doesn't have a last name— he forgot about it but still, no last name, just Haru.
Doesn't like being called Haru because it reminds him so much of his life back when he wasn't in the game.
Him and girlfriend broke up because he couldn't keep up with daddy dearest and lost— then he broke up with her after because he doesn't want to risk his life for a girl; his words, not mine. Then girlfriend ran over to her father and cried to him about it, then he was like "oh I'll kill him" and she was like "no! I don't want him dead" then he technically didn't kill him but— he's still mad about it.
He doesn't age while being in the game— he's still biologically and technically still 16 years old.
Even though they were together, I do think that their relationship was a bit shallow— with girlfriend being more engaging in their relationship than him because, he's kind of aroace.
Speaking of Aroace— he doesn't like Intimacy, I feel like he's more of a performative gentleman— where he does gentlemanly things in front of people for the sake of being seen as the 'good guy'
The character that he possessed looked like beta! Senpai, then he got rebooted after he possessed it and now it looks like— his character now! Blonde, pale, blue eyed; stereotypical pretty boy.
I personally think that he acts the way that he acts because it's his way of coping; to earn control and feel better in a dating simulator— well, as normal and sane as you could in a dating simulator.
Back when he wasn't trapped in a game, he used to be a yellow flag— not really a green flag man but also not really a red flag. Just normal, and kinda complex, but I digress.
But now— he's got problems in the mind, although it doesn't really look like it on the surface, but trust me, the more you get closer to him the more he acts insane.
Anyways— enough of that, let's move
He's a flirt; but he's not any kind of flirt, he's the kind of flirt to spit out Shakespeare worthy compliments that make you feel seen. But then, he'll ghost you when you get addicted to him.
Also, I'll elaborate on the performative gentleman; he will act gentlemanly when people are watching, but, if not, then best believe he's not gonna be that gentle. Although that rarely happens.
He's also a competitive fool that doesn't take criticism— I mean look at when BF wins against him! Don't try to tell me that he's not a little competitive.
But I think that it's because he's got a reputation of always winning— in the game and in real life.
But when he falls in love, he falls hard. I'm talking: doing things that he doesn't do with any other people, being more open to them, being more meaningful about his actions, the whole nine yards.
Also makes poems and songs— and when he does best believe that it's Harana (haha iykyk) worthy.
If someone challenges him to a singing competition to fight for their love— best believe he'll win— whether he cheats or not is up to debate though.
When he's inlove— it's not called a situationship with him, he likes to call it, courting stage and will try to win parents over— although he's a little bit traumatized by GF's parents.
He doesn't like kids— don't get him wrong some are cute, but he doesn't think that he can commit that much. Although he's willing to be the cool uncle though.
The best trope to pair him up is "She fell inlove first, but he fell harder" trope because it literally describes him! I will write a oneshot about it dw.
He's not clingy in public; he likes to keep up the image as being the "charismatic boyfriend that everyone wants" but he will linger, always near, never away from you for long. But in private? He's all over you, I'm talking: latched to your sides not letting you go, kissing you every minute because he "just felt like it"
Will make playlists with you, majority of which are love songs, and music great for dancing in the rain.
Is so sickenly romantic that you sometimes need to take a breather— trust me, even the calmest and put together person will get flustered with him.
His taste in music and movies are rom com and romantic— but he'd rather die than admit that to anyone.
The other boys at school either are jealous of him or have a crush on him, there's no in between.
If he ever gets back to the real world, best believe that he's gonna be more normal than his dating simulator self: he's more sweet, more empathetic, and stuff like that— because y'know, trauma
