Placements that make people think they know you when they actually donāt
⦠reviews from my readings + book yours now š¤
disclaimer: these are just observations iāve noticed from reading charts and looking at how certain placements can affect perception, projection + first impressions. your whole chart matters and aspects can change how everything plays out. take what resonates and leave what doesnāt š¤
people will literally make up a whole personality for you before theyāve even had a proper conversation with you . you can walk into a room and someone has already decided youāre shy, mysterious, sweet, intimidating, innocent, chaotic or secretly very emotional depending on whatever theyāre projecting onto you. the weird thing is different people can genuinely have completely different opinions about you because everyone is seeing a slightly different version of you. someone might swear youāre incredibly quiet while another person thinks you never shut up. someone thinks youāre soft and harmless while someone else thinks youāre impossible to read. and youāre just standing there like ??? i literally didnāt do anything . people can also become weirdly fascinated with you because they feel like thereās something about you they canāt fully explain. sometimes people donāt even realise theyāre projecting onto you until they actually get close and realise you are NOTHING like the version they created in their head.
people can know your face, your name, your reputation and little random facts about you while still knowing basically nothing about who you actually are inside. you can be around people all the time and still have a huge part of yourself that nobody has access to. people may assume youāre simple because you donāt explain every thought or feeling you have, but your internal world is actually a whole separate universe that you donāt automatically invite people into. iāve noticed people with this placement can be underestimated too because people donāt always see the full extent of their ambition, emotions or personality until theyāre actually trusted enough to see it. you can also have people who think they know you because they know the version of you that you allow them to see⦠meanwhile there are entire sides of you they have literally never met.
people are constantly trying to figure you out and half the time youāre literally just existing . you donāt even have to be secretive for people to think you are. thereās something about your energy that makes people feel like thereās more going on underneath the surface. you can answer someone normally and theyāll still be wondering what you āreally meant.ā you can be quiet and people assume youāre judging them. you can be friendly and suddenly they think you secretly like them. you can look completely calm while people are internally trying to decode your facial expressions. the funniest thing is people can project SO much onto scorpio risings because they feel like they canāt immediately read you. someone can spend months around you and still feel like they only know 60% of you because you naturally reveal yourself in layers. people may also remember you for a very long time even if you barely knew them because thereās something about your presence that sticks in their mind.
people decide youāre ādifferentā before they even know what makes you different they might fixate on your humour, the way you dress, your facial expressions, your opinions or one random thing you said once and suddenly you become āthat personā in their mind. people can also assume you donāt care about anything because you have a detached way of presenting yourself, when actually you can care VERY deeply about certain things. you just donāt always express it in the way people expect. iāve also noticed people with this placement can have a weird experience where they feel like theyāre being observed more than they realise because people become curious about them. someone may secretly copy something you do, repeat a phrase you use or start liking something because you introduced it to them without even realising the influence you had.
people can genuinely struggle to separate the real you from the version of you they want you to be. you can become whatever someone needs you to represent in their mind. one person sees you as their dream person, another sees you as mysterious, another sees you as someone who needs saving and another sees you as completely unreachable. and the weirdest part is they can all feel like theyāre right people can also be shocked when you do something that doesnāt fit the image they had of you. like they thought you were this calm innocent person and then you say something completely unhinged. or they thought you were emotionally unavailable and then they find out youāre actually extremely sensitive. thereās a huge difference between the image people create around you and who you actually are when nobody is projecting onto you.
people can fall for an idea of you before they even know the real you. they remember your eyes, your voice, one conversation, the way you looked at them and suddenly their brain has created an entire love story they may romanticise the smallest things you do and assign meaning to things you genuinely did not mean that deeply. you could literally say āi like this songā and someone is three months later associating that song with you like it was your personal soundtrack. the thing is, you can become someoneās type without even trying because theyāve attached an entire fantasy to you. this can also mean people are sometimes disappointed when they realise youāre a normal human being with flaws because they werenāt necessarily falling for you yet⦠they were falling for the version of you they imagined.

your public image can become its own separate character . people may have a very strong idea of who you are based on what they see from a distance, but the closer someone gets to you, the more they realise thereās so much they never knew. this placement can create people who are admired, talked about or even idealised without actually feeling personally understood. you might have people who think youāre extremely successful, confident, mysterious or talented while privately youāre questioning everything and trying to figure your own life out. people may also gossip about you or create stories about you because they donāt have all the information, so they fill in the gaps themselves. you can have a reputation that is much bigger than your actual private life.
people can become very attached to the version of you that exists publicly. you might become known for one specific quality and then everyone starts seeing you through that lens. if people decide youāre āthe smart one,ā suddenly they expect you to always know everything. if they decide youāre āthe confident one,ā they forget you can have insecurities too. if they decide youāre āthe successful one,ā they may never think to ask if youāre actually struggling. people can put you on a pedestal without realising that youāre still just a person. and because the sun rules your identity, it can sometimes feel weird when people know your reputation better than they know your actual personality.
people can feel your presence before they understand you. you can literally be sitting quietly and someone is still very aware that youāre there . people may describe you as intense, intimidating, powerful or mysterious even when you donāt personally feel like that at all. you can also become someone people remember for YEARS after knowing you, especially if the interaction was emotionally significant. the interesting thing is that people may think youāre very confident because of how strongly you carry yourself, when internally you might actually be going through huge identity changes that nobody knows about. you can also have people become strangely curious about you because they feel like thereās something underneath your appearance that they canāt quite access.
people can become obsessed with the question of what youāre really like privately. you might not even be doing anything mysterious but people sense that you donāt reveal everything immediately. someone can talk to you for an hour and leave thinking āthereās definitely more to them.ā people may become curious about your past, your relationships, your private thoughts or what youāre like when nobody is watching. you can also have people telling you things they donāt normally tell others because something about you makes them feel like youāll understand the deeper stuff. the funny part is that you may actually be quite private while people are simultaneously becoming more and more curious about you.
people genuinely underestimate how much you think about things. you can be sitting there quietly while internally analysing the entire conversation, remembering something someone said six months ago and connecting it to something they just said today . people might think you didnāt notice something because you didnāt react, but you absolutely noticed. you just didnāt feel the need to announce it. this placement can also make people think youāre mysterious or difficult to understand because so much of your thought process happens privately. you may have entire conversations in your head that nobody else knows happened. someone might think you ānever said anythingā about an issue when actually youāve had 47 internal discussions about it already.
people realise later that you were paying WAY more attention than they thought. you can listen to someone talk and automatically notice their wording, their contradictions, the things they avoid answering and the tiny changes in their tone. you may not confront them immediately because youāre still gathering information. but once something doesnāt add up, it stays in your mind. people can also underestimate how psychologically observant you are because you might not look like youāre analysing them at all. then six months later you mention something they said once and theyāre like āwait⦠you remembered that???ā yes š. you did.
people can project emotional qualities onto you really easily. they may assume youāre softer, more emotionally available or more understanding than you actually feel in that moment. people might tell you their deepest secrets after knowing you for five minutes because they feel like you āget them.ā you can also become a comfort person for people without actively choosing that role. the downside is that people may sometimes expect you to understand their emotions without taking the time to understand yours. you can become the person everyone comes to for emotional support while nobody realises you also have an entire emotional world that you keep private.
there can genuinely be people who have had crushes on you that you NEVER found out about . people may admire you quietly from a distance because they arenāt sure how you would react if they approached you. you can also become someoneās secret favourite person without realising it. someone might think about you, check your social media or remember tiny details about you while youāre completely unaware that you made that much of an impression. this placement can also make your own feelings private, so even when you like someone, other people may have absolutely no idea because youāre not necessarily going to make it obvious.
