This is a poem I wrote the summer that I turned 14 years old.  I was inspired by Ricketson and I changed the words around, adding a stanza and editing the context.  My spin on the original poem has been stolen several times.  I have seen this poem on Tumblr with several thousands of notes.  I have seen my poem on WeHeartIt, Instagram, etc.  This poem must have been read millions of times.  And I cannot fathom how many people this poem has reached.  It saddens me to the core, but I don’t feel so lonely anymore.
