Have some of my headcanon facts about this titan species
There is a slightĀ Sexual dimorphism between the two sexes. For this I used Godzilla and my OC and his sister, Jira. I also added cute sketches of them just being big sister and little brother ^^
At first glance they look very similar. But they have some slight differences.
In general, males are bigger than their female counterparts and have bigger dorsal spines. Besides for storing their radiation in those spines, they serve for display. As sharp as they are, they arenāt exactly a weapong they can use, besides protecting their backside.
Bigger spines will make the male look bigger, stronger and more intimidating. It will make him look scarier towards enemies and rivals and help attract possible mates.
The female Gojira has a slimmer and leaner built than males, but that doesnāt make her weak. Females are very dangerous as well, often even more aggressive than their male counterpart. Especially if the female is a mother and has young cubs to protect.
Most Gojira sport natural colors, to blend into their surroundings, often making them look like a stone formation. Their scale colors can range from a sand-ish brown to dark brown and from a stone grey, over to a greenish grey and even black, though very rare. Albinoās are possible, but only if both parents carry the gene for it.
Some Gojira can have slight patterns, such as stripes (like tiger stripes) and even patches. It is possible to find a two colored Gojira, which probably was born with either partial albinism (Like Jira for example) or vitiligo, where they lose coloration over time.

Behaviour and mating/family habits
Male Gojira, if they donāt live in a family, will travel across the world, looking for new territories or for a mate. They get in fights more often, as they often encounter other kaiju and other males. It is not uncommon to see one covered in battle scars.
Females either stay with the family group, watching over younger siblings, or take on their own territory and stay there most of the time. A lone female, once mature, will call out herĀ āsiren songā to lure possibles mates. She sings while swimming and wait for a guy to show up.
Once a male is near and interested, the courting begins. Heāll make himself big, stomp around and make noise to get her attention. Heāll flash his lights in a alluring manner, hypnotising her with his dance and flex on her and coo to show he doesnāt mean any harm. If sheās interested, sheāll copy his little light show and coo and purr back at him.
If thereās a case of multiple males being interested in the same lady, theyāll try to outshine the other. The brightest gets the girl. If she canāt decide, theyāll brawl it out until only one is left standing. It is also possible that her parents might intervene if they donāt like the possible son in law, if sheās still staying with her family.

Once a mated couple has settled down with a nest, mom will stay home most of the time while dad is providing food. She does leave to stretch and hunt sometimes and dad will stay with the little ones and keep watch. Both parents are very involved in raising their cubs. Since the last two wars with the Mutos and the Kongs, having cubs is very important. Having multiple offspring is a huge blessing.
Both parents are very protective of their young, trying to come closer to a nest is pretty much a death sentence. Both parents will teach their kids, how to hunt, how to fight, where to find the best food etc. Gojira live in tight knitt families, keeping contact with relatives all through their lives.
