CELINE left him with yet another laugh when he mentioned that this was apparently considered tame compared to the other things he’s experienced. She honestly did wonder what sort of things he’s been through – his life was probably even more EVENTFUL than hers ! Who knows. Perhaps she could be in for a RIDE if they did somehow spend more time together. He was the first person she was INTRIGUED by after all, ever since arriving in this world anyways. Ah, there was that blonde knight as well but he seemed to be off in a hurry.
She followed him at his side in silence while they made their way to the town jail and it wasn’t long before they arrived there safely. ❛ Why thank you for your hard work, good sir. You’ll get your reward soon, don’t be so impatient. Give me a moment though. ❜ And with that, she took a moment to scan around before she waltzed right to the authorities nearby ( quite dramatically ) to point them to the unconscious criminal. She soon reunited with Yuri who stood hidden nearby.
❛ Shall we go then, my black knight ? We’ll probably just head on to that tavern over there. I don’t know this place all too well but it’s BETTER than nothing, right ? ❜ She then promptly began to lead the way with Yuri at her side. ❛ So, what are you doing around these parts anyways ? You don’t seem like you’re really from here. Are you some kind of mercenary perhaps ? Come to think of it, I never got your name yet, did I ? You can go ahead and call me Celine. ❜
HE WAS glad that the plan worked out perfectly, for once and all it took was this woman to play the part in front of those silly authorities. Yuri was curious to why she did it with ease, not feeling bad at all for dropping the criminal at the door to be picked up and tossed some more. Her innocence was just a gimmick, he bet with himself. ❝Well that was easy.❞ too easy but why should he complain? Arms were folded against his chest, back leaning into the the base of the tree while he was waiting. ❝That sounds a little more rewarding. hah, that tavern is fine by me.❞ Yuri kicks off from where he stood and walked down the path.
❝What? You’re saying I don’t look like a local? ❞ he teases her, grinning as he stretches his arms upwards then behind his head. ❝You caught me. But not really, guess it depends on who you look at. Karol would say Guild, Judith might tease otherwise. and me? jack of all trades I guess. we do simple things for gald; hunting monsters, finding lost toys, etc etc. ❞ yuri looks over his shoulder at her, raising a brow.
