Then, as mentioned in a later chapter, Haegeum remembers a butterfly-masked employee whom she captured and put in the Glass Prison.
Maybe, just maybe, this was when that happened? I really like both characters so I find this hypothetical scenario really funny lmfao

And that very same movie is being displayed in Hanbit library, in Sekwang City..
It's practically a given that we'll be revisiting Sekwang in Part 3, so maybe, just maybe, J3 will jump back into that fairytale? Or perhaps it'll be Soleum.
I'm hoping for Jekang's involvement as well. I really want to see how and why their relationship developed like this— maybe Jekang was disappointed and bitter after seeing how dull J3, the formerly brilliant leader of Elite Team B, had become?
And more Jekang backstory would be appreciated as well... how did you find out about Darknesses? Do you have any loved ones? Who called for you in Midday Station? Do you take rejuvenation potions just to keep researching? Are you still bound by the pinky promise?
But going back to J3, he's my favorite, so I'd like to know his name at least.... and what kind of food he liked back then.....

Regarding previous chapters, I'm ALSO subscribing to the seonghae mermaid city theory. I'd been wondering for a while why she always seemed to be losing her legs (golden resort arc, casino arc), so it'd be explained if it was similar to the little mermaid's story..

We know from part 2 that J3 was basically a human lie detector by virtue of being B-squad's leader.
Is that why he made the decision regarding the soleum mimic so quickly, back in book 1's 3-day security cleaning arc? Minseong took a while to figure it out, but J3 straight up killed the mimic after a few sentences.
