3 years ago today…one of the most awesome things to ever happen to me, happened! ❤️❤️❤️

Soooo we got our seats upgraded for free!!!

This random girl approached us when we were about to go back to our seats & asked where they were. We told her & she said that her friend was sitting in that section (NOSEBLEEDS) & she really wanted to sit near her but their parents got them tickets in seperate sections & she wanted to trade with us. Her tickets were for 4 rows from the side of the stage!!! We thought it was a scam for a minute so she offered to walk us down there & check the seats out & that they were real. Everything checked out so we just prayed we weren’t being scammed & traded them. Idk who this girl is but I wish I could hug her & thank her again. She has got to be the bestest friend since she gave up those seats to sit near her friend. I wish we had traded info & I could talk to her now! She gave us the ability to experience something we probably never will again! Forever grateful! ❤️❤️❤️

I remember that I had a horrible day at work & the only thing getting me through it without crying was that RED had come out that day. It was a chilly dreary fall day. I left work & immediately drove to the closest Target. Went in & bought only that. Popped it in my CD player in my car, & just sat there listening to it. I FELL IN LOVE. It resentated with my soul. When I got home, I put it in my computer so I could keep listening to it. I called my sister & told her it was so amazing (then mom yelled at me for buying it since she planned on giving it to me for christmas…what?? How could I wait that long?!) & I instantly posted it to Instagram.

It was my favorite then & is my favorite now.

Hey remember when y’all cared about racism when people were being targeted and bullied on here? Yeah, the problem doesn’t go away when people stop getting anon hate. We really do need the constant recognition and support so that racists do not feel that they can attack POCs on here. I’ve been offline so I haven’t been on here this weekend but it just seems like we go through the motions of getting comfortable with silence once there’s other news about Taylor’s tour. I get that our lives don’t entirely revolve around race in the fandom, but I find it interesting that once Taylor is on how silent we become and how it becomes about getting personal recognition from her.

In regards to Taylor’s silence like idk maybe I asked for too much by asking for her to advocate for us. But I would think after the constant racism on here in the name of Taylor Swift that Taylor herself might want to speak on it.

I know some of you can afford to be silent on an issue that doesn’t directly affect you, but unfortunately for some of us our skin color carries with us for literally our entire lives and we can’t afford to be silent.

I’m not trying to scorn anyone, but I just want to make people aware of what me and other POCs are seeing when we see that Taylor continues to ignore the racism in this fandom and so do a lot of her fans
