🩸— synopsis:
Year 1863, Southern Italy. Violante is the young daughter of a fallen noble family which is forced to live in poverty in a cold and isolated mountain village. On the day of her wedding, which would’ve allowed her to leave that place, a weird epidemic explodes: people start going into contortions, and a weird worm-like creature hungry for blood comes out of their mouth. After managing to escape, she swears revenge for her lost family, and claims to know who the culprit is: a nobleman they call “the Prince”, who occupied the manor which once was Violante’s home. He appears in her dreams as an obsessive thought, a vampire bearer of plague to destroy – until one night, he doesn’t ask her to be the one who kills him.
