Glimpses of shadows underneath arctic ice ... are they friend or foe?

An odd siren from the arctic oceans, forever reclusive and unseen... Legends say she's been here for many centuries, and that she's the one that causes the dangerous sudden blizzards that drown sailors who get too close, eternally protecting the lost ruins of an ancient city. Is the "Bringer of Death" truly just a legend to scare children, or was there some truth to that myth? No one's certain, as few live long enough to confirm her existence...

In all truthfulness, she's quite easy to find if you simply look in the right places. Getting her to talk is an entirely different story, though... Some say offerings of silver and jewels can convince her to begrudgingly converse. It's nigh impossible to convince her to talk about herself, though.

IMPORTANT NOTE-

All "Main" storylines will be in separate "timelines" unless it can be used for a plot in something else. For example, if she were to get captured or badly injured, that storyline would be separate from the ones where she's still able to interact with others.

As she was leaving, the sound of a boat motor could be heard rapidly approaching, along with shouting. Then all of a sudden, one of those fish catching spear type things stabbed into the water, brushing Vizerxa’s tail fin and slightly damaging it.. then a familiar voice..

“Really thought you could escape, hm?”

Vizerxa hisses, recoiling. Her sails flare up instinctively, although they're too damaged to be intimidating at all. She glares up through the water, a storm quickly forming again.

"I could level your facility with ease.. Hurricanes are more severe the closer they are to water."

And she leaned over the side of the boat and injected Vizerxa with a sleeping drug thing.

Ruka moved back a bit, dodging the attack. She injected Vizerxa again.

And she was taken to a NEW containment facility, one stronger then the last.

Exhausted Vizerxa sleeps, trying to curl into herself.

After awhile, someone banged on the door of the cage thing to wake her up. This time she was basically chained to the floor so that she couldn’t escape.

Vizerxa hisses and lunges to try and snap at the sound, but gets stopped by the chain. She growls, incredibly annoyed.

“Nice try. You escaping last time was.. annoying. But not anymore. Maybe I’ll just put you down.. causing so much unnecessary trouble. And I don’t need any more sirens. I’ve gotten the information I need..”

"Try to kill me. I'll make sure you die as well."

Seren was also practically yeeted into the same test room as Vizerxa. She was noticeably smaller and definitely much more weak then Vizerxa. She let out a loud “Hey!..-“ as she was thrown in and the door was locked. She didn’t really move around much, being physically exhausted from the tests that had already been performed on her.

Vizerxa glares at Seren, curled up in the corner similar to a snake. Once she realizes the other siren isn't much of a threat, she untenses somewhat and just looks away.

She was referring to Vizerxa, though not talking directly to her. Her eyes darted around, observing the room looking for ANY possible way to escape. All she saw was a very, very small crack in the wall. Maybe she could use that her advantage, somehow.

“Hey..- I think I can get us out of here.. do you have any like.. I don’t know, abilities or powers or something that could help?”

Vizerxa just nods slightly.

"..Hm. I can cause storms and hurricanes, but that wouldn't open the door."

Vizerxa shrugs. She vaguely knows how electricity and power work, but guesses that the default position of the door they were both thrown in through is locked, so a power outage wouldn't change anything.

“Maybe it can help.. there’s.. a crack in the door here, and I saw that this thing is suspended on a single metal bar.. maybe you can can cause a hurricane to make it disconnect and fall..?”

“Great..! The scientists aren’t here at the moment. I heard the head one say she was going to the docks and the others.. no idea.”

Vizerxa nods in understanding, before focusing on starting a storm. It's harder when she can't see what's happening, but it's not too long before thunder rumbles outside and a storm forms.

The whole place started shaking! “It’s working!”

"it seems so.." Vizerxa focuses on making the storm grow further.

The whole place started to shake, and a few minutes later, it had disconnected from the main building and fell into the water.

“Shit I might have not planned this through.. how are we going to actually GET OUT? Uhh..”

The storm fades once it falls.

"good question.. hm.."

“I think I saw a sharp rock in here.. there!”

Plot convenience says that there’s two sharp rocks in the room, idk how, but there is. Seren swam over to one of them and then over to the crack in the wall and started hitting it.

“maybe we can get the crack big enough to get out!”

Vizerxa gets a rock as well, joining Seren in hitting the crack, though her blows are weaker. Being in a metal box did not help her fatigue.

After a bit, the rocks managed to make a big enough hole for them to escape!

“It worked!— let’s go before they come!!”

Vizerxa nods, slipping through the hole.

And they escaped!

“Thanks a lot, do you have anywhere to go or no? If not, you could come with me to where I’m from.”

Vizerxa still is fatigued and sluggish from the environmental differences between here and her home.

Vizerxa gets a rock as well, joining Seren in hitting the crack, though her blows are weaker. Being in a metal box did not help her fatigue.

Seren was also practically yeeted into the same test room as Vizerxa. She was noticeably smaller and definitely much more weak then Vizerxa. She let out a loud “Hey!..-“ as she was thrown in and the door was locked. She didn’t really move around much, being physically exhausted from the tests that had already been performed on her.
