I always see story's about how people came out and everyone was happy and accepting, you rarely ever hear it the other way around. Last night I told my step dad about me but my mum had already told him so I said sorry I wasn't the one to tell you. What followed was probably the worse response I could have gotten. I'm not going to say everything he said because a lot of it was very harsh and I just don't want to. But what he said was he doesn't believe me, I'm confused and drug fucked, that I'm not feminine at all in any aspec and that I'm just looking for an escape from reality so I don't have to work. He then followed it by that he didn't believe I got sexually assaulted either. Ok well someone I looked up to for more then half my life just cut me down, what was I thinking thinking that everything would be ok. I don't know maybe I am drug fucked after all....

When you look in the mirror you feel pretty for a change and a lot of other things that just make you want to smile and never stop smiling, a lot more people then I expected were okay with me the second I told them. So I guess test the waters and see who is cool, if they arnt acceptant then don't worry about them, they either need time or arnt worth yours.
