Axel is two years younger than Peri (since as far as I'm aware Peri's age hasn't been confirmed, so I don't want to put an exact number until then.) Axel is an adult but he sees himself more of brother figure than a parent. Axel isn't exactly the serious and worried some person.
Axel finds it ironic how Peri can be smooth but then become a mess when Dev is causing chaos.
