Morgan: But /graduation/ Shayne.
Shayne: It'll be great!

Morgan: Talks of graduation started today and I wanted to gouge my eyes out.
Shayne: Don't do that. I like your eyes.

Morgan: I promise to return him in the same condition as when we left... plus a little more hyper. Yes. A distraction.
Shayne: That's a-okay! I trust you with him. Distraction from what?

Morgan: I kidnapped your child.
Morgan: We got ice cream. I needed a distraction.
Shayne: If it were anyone but you or Ariana, I'd be panicking. But, that's fine! Having fun? Uh oh.. Distraction?
quartermorganmaine:
I don’t think I’m the best to be around a little toddler. I hate to break it to you, but I don’t exactly have a filter at times.
Buzz likes you and I trust you around him. Come on, Morgan.. Don’t make me beg.
quartermorganmaine:
He left. Seems like he broke up with his latest fuck of the year and couldn’t handle staying in the same state. But the rents won’t let me skip out on the trash that is Degrassi. I’ve tried. Thanks for the offer, but I’m not about to intrude.
You wouldn’t be intruding and that’s.. Honestly horrible. Listen, we’d be 10000% happy to have you here. I swear.
quartermorganmaine:
Since my ass of a brother left me stranded in Canada, guess who’s homeless now? Me. Fuck everything.
He did what? You can stay with Ari, Buzz and I. You definitely aren’t homeless. Not allowed, not gonna be a thing.
lip-andrews:
Honestly the servers suck right now anyway. Yeah, I’m fine. Just girlfriend problems.
That’s highly disappointing. Oh.. Did you do something or did she? Either way, I’d hide.

Morgan watched as he turned around, instantly sitting up. He was cute, and if the short sentence was any clue, he wasn’t from Canada either. She hadn’t met many foreigners like herself since moving, and that could be a factor why she wanted to move back home so much. She figured at this point, there was very little chance she’d be able to convince her parents that moving back home would be better than living there; the only way would be if she or Chuck did something incredibly heinous that ruined them. But there was no way she would be doing that. She may be a bitch and a loud mouth with no filter, but she crossed the line and felonies.
She stood, walking over to him. “I promise I wasn’t aiming for you.” She said, grabbing another piece and tossing it over to the gaggle of birds. “You’re way too tall to be a bird.” She shrugged, standing next to him. “Again, my apologies.”
Shayne couldn’t help but appreciate her beauty. As much as he tried to pretend he’d never even look at a woman again, he was only human. He mostly avoided women excluding his sister and female co-workers, who he pretty much regarded as sisters, but every now and then.. Well, he met girls who had him talking like a moron. “I mean, unless you’re counting ostriches or emus.” He observed glancing at the gaggle of hungry birds. “But, I don’t think they’re too native here, so you probably aren’t. Anyway, it’s fine.”
Not too happy with being ignored, his son let out an indignant shriek, reaching up at the woman for what she was holding. “Buzz, no.” He softly chided, kneeling down to tame Buzz’s reaching arms. “We don’t steal birdie food. They need to eat it.”

When you’re in such an off mood you can’t even get excited about Pokemon GO…
The fact that I’m late on the Pokemon GO! train disappoints my inner nerd, but are you alright..?

Morgan had run out of the house as quick as she could. She thought if she had kept her grades up and kept out of trouble, one of the reasons why they moved to Toronto, her parents would at least think of moving back home. But when she brought up the idea as she placed her report card down in front of them, they shut it down quickly. Saying even though she had held up her end of the bargain, they weren’t convinced she wouldn’t resort back to her old ways once home in England.
So she did what she also did when her parents were being annoying. She cursed at them, screamed, and then stormed out to a destination unknown. She was sure she was wandering for a few hours before spotting a park, moving over to a bench and sitting down. She rummaged through her bag, finding a sandwich from earlier in the day that she didn’t eat when at the beach with friends. She sighed, taking a piece of bread out of the bag and starting rip it apart, tossing it close and far to the birds. One of the pieces she had tossed ended up hitting someone, she grimaced. “Sorry!” She called out to the guy.
Shayne quite liked Toronto. Though it had it’s problems like most other places, he found the atmosphere calming. Ever the anti-social creature, most days he kept to himself. Work at the recording studio, home with Ari and Buzz, it was the life. It kept him from thinking about his late wife and the sadness that came along with it.
Ever since Ari had started seeing someone, he’d made sure to give her a little more space. Young love, it was a sweet thing, and he was glad she was getting to have the experience. It was another one of his days where he’d taken Buzz to the park just to let her do as she wanted, and it was nice to see his son so bubbly at the sight of nature.
Not realling paying attention to much more than his son’s squeals, he was a bit shocked when a piece of something hit him. It wasn’t hard, but surely enough to get his attention. He looked down, spying the piece of bread and his gaze went to the girl as she spoke. “Oh, it’s fine!” He called back to her, laughing a bit. Ari would get a kick out of him being pegged with a piece of bread.

techbook--paige:
Technically it’s 6, but three of them are tiny ones so probably more like 4. The problem isn’t the size, the problem is all the trinkets in the boxes that i haven’t seen in years that keep distracting me.
Ah.. And letting go of them is incredibly hard, I’m guessing?
techbook--paige:
The moment when the apartment is empty and your mother drops off boxes from your childhood. It’s priceless. And very distracting.
How many boxes are we talking? Past four and I’d end up overwhelmed.
