Open letter to you...”You know who you are” 😊

I realize that this letter changes nothing because the past will not hear me nor pay me any mind...Heartbreak doesn't play favourites when it chooses people in life to hurt you or let you down..

To this day, I still don't know how things got so horribly wrong between you and I, okay I’m lying, I kinda know 😂😂😂 but I'm mad that we let that come between what seemingly could have been something spectacular. You know, friendship...

I could hate you and so could you. We both could keep that hatred deep inside of us and let it hide there safely as a reminder of the pain we each brought, but we would be the only ones who know it exists and let it eat away at our own hearts so why hold on to it?

I let you in against all odds and saw the beautiful parts of who you are. We have secret conversations that I escape to like a magnificent destination 🌌🌏 and you wanna know the most amazing part of this entire situation?...I forgive you..You and I are different people but in the end, we are the same. We are only human and as humans we let each other down. We abuse trust, we break hearts and we make mistakes. 

I have made my fair share of mistakes and I'm sure I've hurt you too. I know there are parts of you that I will never understand and therefore I will respect them. 

I just wanted to let you know that I am sorry and that I forgive you, not because it makes me feel like a good person or better about myself, but because I remember that we are both human. You brought me memories and emotions, some good, some bad but I know that I'm alive because I can feel..I am strong and alive and free to experience all depths of life, love and even loss and pain.

So thank you very very much..

I've heard the saying “The best thing about being this low is that you have nowhere to go but up” so many times, but it's sad because no matter how hard I try to convince myself that I'm gonna be alright, I fail every single time...

It's been tough putting up this “I'm okay, brave girl” act, sometimes I really just wanna be a little girl, crawl into a corner and cry my eyes out...

I love him, he loves me...why are things this hard if we are so meant to be???

Another day has gone by and I still wonder where on Earth I’m headed and who will I find waiting for me at this mysterious destination.

It's getting harder just to mask how I feel, my smile fades with every passing day and I've gotten to the point where im just existing in a world I thought was perfect, but turned out to be full of pain.

This year, the one person I love more than anything, found all the holes in me and managed to escape. That is by far the biggest and most painful sacrifice I have had to make. Im still not sure whether I'm okay with it or not....
