There is so much I want to say about WWE releasing MCMG… but why would you want them to remain in a company where they can’t even use their own signature moves because other wrestlers stole them before they got there???? Sure they can wrestle without them and in their words, “they’re just moves,” but I truly think they lost their identity without being able to use those or have their moves attributed to them correctly. KENTA also suffered from this during his time in WWE due to CM Punk stealing the Go to Sleep from him.

AEW however does properly attribute them on commentary, when talking about the origins of Lee Moriarty and Jay White’s signature moves. MCMG are always put over on commentary in AEW (and NJPW) and I believe was purposely done to leave the door open for their return.
