She encourages me to move forward and look at the brighter side of things. She consistently inspires me every morning by sharing her devotionals. I can say that she loves me from the love of the Lord. I really praise God for your life ate! Thank you for being a blessing to me. Thank you for being one of my sisters in Christ who taught me so many things. Thank you for putting your heart in what you are doing that inspires me and most especially things that glorifies the Lord. I knew that this woman loves me because she never tolerates any of my wrong doings. I just met her recently but to be honest this woman contributed so many lessons only good teachers can teach. I also learned from her countless "NO" every time I wanted to do something that is against the rules. I hope this time I will be good and give my very best not to be pasaway. I'm grateful for the blessing I've received named "Molly" such a good example to a stubborn one and that's me. I just want to thank you for taking care of me even if it takes long patience for me to follow whatever you're saying. Thank you for allowing me (sometimes) to do what I want. You also inspired me of being responsible of the things around you. I am blessed of having you beb! Someone told me that I can find true confidence in the Lord. I always think that I am not good enough and I don't have the ability to do what others can. It seems that I can easily hide things from other people but one thing is for sure that God can see what is behind the mask that I'm wearing.

I have this attitude that whenever I take off that mask I'll just cry and come inside God's embrace. The laughter, the smile, eyes some people can recognize. I told myself to be transparent to them. Someone imparted me things I have to realize, things that I'm capable of even if I don't see that in myself.

July 7, 2017 (Monday) In front of the class with a shaking hand and a nervous voice. That very moment the undivided attention was given by everyone. I took the step of faith and voice out for Jesus. The time when my tears were almost coming out but God really carried the lead. I was able to share the Gospel to the whole class. I really don't know what have I done but amazingly the Lord did it! The same day I received praises from everyone. I have the chance to boast and be proud of myself but I prayed that only God will be seen not me, and He will be Glorified not the name Sheny.

2 Corinthians 4:16

So we do not lose heart. Though out outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.

The time when I can only see my weakness is also the same time when people in my heart saw my strength.

Today is my Birthday and I would like to show you one of the best gifts that I ever had.

I am certainly blessed with this gift! A gift that is Heaven sent.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

I really love to know that it was planned by God, for me to have this wonderful gift. The gift that I have received is still with me now. A gift that I kept for almost two years. Maybe you are wondering why it’s very important to me where it’s just two years. Two years full of learning and love with this gift is close to forever! This gift is like a twin to my faith journal and allow me to show the gift to all of you.

I called this gift as Ate Bae. She’s a woman of faith. She is as beautiful as her heart is. Being with this sweet and beautiful lady will always be an amazing thing in my life. Lending her listening ears and Intentionally making time are some of the things I really appreciated with this gift.

She’s the one who really never gives up on me even if I am very makulit. She really is the one who encourages me to become a better person. She is one of my inspirations of having a beautiful heart. She is my accountability partner. She is my doctor. She is the one I can run into. She is a friend that always loves me from the love of the Lord.

How did this gift arrive in my life?

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: if one falls down, his friends can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?

This is my dgroup or discipleship group that I call as my family. God is really awesome because he made this family. A family that is loving one another and praying for each other. I never had it in my mind that I will have a family like this one. This family welcomed and embraced me with everything I am. Ate Bae came into my life when I became part of her dgroup that is really a blessing.

I am looking forward for more experiences and memories with this gift to be kept. Craving for moments that is God indeed is the center. Thank you so much for this gift!

She is the woman who tend to cover her pain by wearing a smile and giving some hugs to people close to her heart. She may seem weak but no one can tell that because Jesus is inside her heart. She can easily express herself to the Lord by merely writting on her faith journal, but most of the time she is a crybaby who sends every tears to her Heavenly Father.

The tears behind her smile, the pain behind her laughter.

She maybe hurting but you’ll never hear her complain. She finally understands that when loving someone there are always unexpected things is going to happen. She is a girl who easily cries when appreciated by someone.

You may see her roaming around the campus, sleeping inside the library, skipping meals (but there’s no need to continue that kind of habit) you can find her in the church every weekends. She loves to eat depending upon her mood. She always have her time conversing with her Ate Bae who’s always making her cry, smile, laugh, and most especially making her feel loved.

She silently serve others, not needing the cheer of a crowd or even her family to keep going. She has needs and longings of her heart that go unfulfilled because she’s taking care of others. She believes that there is hope in her journey. She is created to live empowered by the Lord and to be bold in her faith. Let Him fill you with His love so you can radiate His joy to others.

The woman who continually losing her confidence was me. It was really my reflection, but that is the beautiful life I have in God.

“So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.” 2 Corinthians 4:16

I am learning to be grateful even in the smallest things, to fight and to keep the faith. Endure hardship and know that God has His wonderful plans for me.
