Holiday gift baskets are wonderful gifts to give this season! What better way to say "Happy Holiday's" than with a lovely basket filled with someone's favorite items. This gift basket includes: -Decorative basket ($3 @ Target) -Cute coffee mug (I paid about $7 @ Hobby Lobby during a sale) - Fragrance duo ($6 @ WetSeal) -Cozy socks ($4.50 @ WetSeal) -Mason Jar filled with hot cocoa ($1 @ Michael's, ingredients were separate.) -Clear Ornament ( $3 for a set of 4 @ Hobby Lobby)

So here is another way to use those decorative fillers. Simply pour them into any basket you have and you can place it in your bathroom, on bookshelves, or use it as a center piece for your coffee table. All together I spent about $16 for the fillers and the basket. The basket was only $4.50, originally priced at $15. The fillers, for two boxes with 9 pieces, $6.50. Did I get a steal or did I get a steal??? Lol. Now granted, you could find similar items at a even better deal if you really look, but I love Michael’s and it’s just too cute too turn down. But if you are in a pinch, or you just don’t want to spend extra money, there a several different ways for which you can achieve this look.

1.) You can take an old basket you already have and spruce it up with spray paint and glitter. Or you can even use mason jars.

2.) For the fillers you can get crafty and create your own by using styrofoam balls and decorate them however you like. You can also use old/ extra ornaments you may have left over.

3.) Also to really fill your basket you can add your favorite scent of potpourri, tinsel, decorative snow, or flowers.

So here are a few fabulous finds that I scooped up today at Michaels (my favorite store, I know). Not only am I obsessed with decor, but I am obsessed with holiday decor! Officially a sucker for anything gold with sparkles. So in one of my previous posts I displayed a coffee mug and a potpourri basket with decorative fillers inside (yet another obsession, so sad). It is literally so simple and it is the perfect accent to add to any room.

So I mentioned in one of my earlier posts how I have a love for fashion illustration, really just illustrating in general. It started out as a simple hobby and quickly progressed to something I could see myself doing for a living. Illustrating I have to say, gives my mind and my soul a satisfying sense of peace. It eases my mind, relieves my stress, and genuinely brings me comfort.
