I saw a lot of BOM Leader Keith art floating around and this has been in my drafts for awhile so why the heck not, finish it and post it!
So here is a little something that will be multichaptered and go along with the show I guess.

Altean Prince Shiro and Blade of Marmora kit Keith was the most unlikely friendship anyone thought possible. They met when they were younger and as they grew up together, friendship develops into more.
An incomplete Voltron team is saved by the Marmora when one of its members proves to be the only pilot the Red Lion will accept. Tradition dictates that for an alliance to be formed, two parties of equal standing marry and Shiro winds up taking the hit for the team.
It might not be so bad, if only Shiro could figure out if his new alien spouse really wanted him for a husband.

The Garrison has captured an alien. It’s the very first time.
Shiro is sleeping peacefully in his room at the Garrison when it happens, bundled warmly in dreams as light explodes through the night sky and the ground quakes and quivers. A mile away, in the darkness of the desert, a boy who’s not all human, but not all Galra either, stumbles from his shuttle, disorientated, looking for his father.
He’s apprehended immediately and it’s up to Shiro to get him to tell them what he wants.
